Goku: Broly Surpassed Me? Kami Wants to See Me?

"Surpassed me?" Son Goku's eyes went wide, his face a mask of utter shock and disbelief as he muttered to himself, "Broly... he's really that strong? I... I spent so much time with him and never noticed! He hid it way too well!"

"It's not just you who didn't notice," Master Korin said, shaking his head slightly with a knowing smile. "Even Master Roshi, who lived with him day in and day out, had no clue either. That kid's no simpleton."

"Then... did I see the sky go dark earlier? Did someone summon Shenron?" Goku asked quickly, recalling the strange phenomenon.

"That's right," Master Korin confirmed with a nod. "Broly and Master Roshi summoned Shenron and wished for all the innocent people killed by King Piccolo and his minions to be revived. Krillin came back too. So you can head back without worry—Broly and the others are getting ready to return to Master Roshi's House now."

"Awesome! Krillin's alive! That's fantastic!" Hearing the definite news, Goku jumped for joy, a bright grin spreading across his face as all his worries and gloom vanished. He spun around, ready to leap off the tower top immediately. "Then I'm heading back right now!"

"You still haven't told me who Broly is!" Yajirobe grabbed Goku's arm in a panic, his round face full of curiosity and annoyance. "From the way you talk, you know him pretty well! Earlier you said he's a lot like me! What kind of guy is he?"

"Oh... Broly!" Goku paused and explained simply, "He's a kid Master Roshi found years ago and raised. When Krillin and I went to train at the old man's place, we spent a long time with Broly!"

"You said he doesn't train?" Yajirobe latched onto the key point.

"He just eats and sleeps all day... yeah, he never trained," Goku confirmed with a nod, recalling. "The old man tried to get him to join in a bunch of times, but he always made excuses—said he was tired or hungry."

"Eating and sleeping all day—that really does sound like me." Yajirobe grinned at that, flashing two rows of white teeth, pleased with Goku's description and even a bit proud of it. "So this Broly guy looks like me too? A nimble fat guy?"

"Not really." Goku looked Yajirobe up and down, taking in his round build, and shook his head bluntly. Then, as if remembering something, he muttered under his breath, "Broly's... pretty tall, and I get the feeling girls like him. Bulma said he was handsome the first time she met him..."

"What are you implying..." Yajirobe's face darkened instantly, feeling an invisible blow to his pride. He puffed out his round belly defiantly. "Like I don't have girls after me! This is... this is a stately look! A blessed one!"

"Alright, alright, enough about that. I really need to get going!" Eager to return, Goku made to jump off the tower.

"Wait a moment, Goku." Master Korin called out, his tone turning serious.

"Something else, Master Korin?" Goku stopped and looked back in confusion.

"He wants to see you!" Master Korin sighed, giving Goku a deep look, his narrowed eyes hinting at something profound.

"See me? Who wants to see me?" Goku blinked, bewildered.

"Kami!" Master Korin raised his wooden staff, pointing toward the higher, bluer sky above the tower.

"Kami?" Goku was even more puzzled, glancing up at the sky and then back at Master Korin, completely lost.

"That's right. He just sent me a message!" Master Korin nodded with a smile, his voice carrying a note of gravity and encouragement. "Don't you want to get stronger? Train under Kami, and you'll be several times more powerful than you are now!"

"Huh? Really? I can actually meet Kami?" Goku froze for a moment at Master Korin's words, then his face lit up with a mix of surprise and sheer joy, his eyes going wide and sparkling with excitement.

"Maybe if you train with Kami for a while and make rapid progress, you'll surpass that deeply hidden Broly," Master Korin said, stroking his whiskers as he watched Goku's fired-up expression, his tone encouraging.

"That's great! I'll head home first to say hi to Grandpa and Broly, let them know I'm safe, and then go straight to Kami's place to train!" Goku was practically bouncing with excitement, rubbing his hands together, eager to start his journey to becoming stronger.

"Go on, then." Master Korin nodded in approval, but then added, "Oh, since you're in such a hurry, let me give you a little gift."

"What gift?" Goku blinked.

"Flying Nimbus, come!" Master Korin didn't answer directly. Instead, he looked up at the vast sky and called out in a special cadence.

In response, a huge patch of dazzling, golden, cotton-candy-like clouds drifted over from the distant horizon!

These Nimbus clouds rolled and stretched, radiating a warm, peaceful glow that bathed the top of Korin Tower in gold.

"That's a whole lot of Nimbus!" Goku stared at the magnificent sight, both amazed and delighted.

"Just tear off a piece for yourself," Master Korin said with a chuckle, watching Goku's thrilled reaction. He seemed to recall something from long ago and mused, "Come to think of it, that little piece of Nimbus you rode back then—that old geezer Master Roshi pestered me for it."

"Really? That happened?" Goku found it intriguing.

Without another thought, Goku leaped up lightly onto the massive golden cloud, feeling the soft, springy surface beneath his feet.

Then, he reached down carefully and tore off a small piece, just big enough for him to stand on.

"Just that little bit is enough?" Master Korin looked at the tiny piece in Goku's hand, a look of approval on his face.

Knowing restraint, not being greedy—this kid's heart was still pure.

"Plenty," Goku said, placing the small Nimbus under his feet.

"Go on, don't keep Kami waiting too long—that'd be rude." Master Korin waved a paw with a smile.
