Yuanshi's hand finally stopped.
Su Miao lifted her head from his lap, her eyes brimming with tears from laughing. Her cheeks were flushed, and the corners of her mouth stretched nearly to her ears.
She glared at Yuanshi, her eyes full of accusation.
Yuanshi looked down at her.
"Spiritual Qi circulation isn't tickling."
"But it tickles!"
"That's because your meridians are blocked."
Su Miao opened her mouth, only to realize she truly had no rebuttal.
She had spent all her time rushing about the Prehistoric World before. How could she have had the time to properly tend to her body?
Blocked meridians were normal.
"Then... could you be gentler?"
Yuanshi's hand settled over her small frame again.
"Fine."
Silken threads of Spiritual Qi flowed in once more. This time, they were as gentle as a spring breeze, blowing down from the crown of her head and brushing over every inch of her meridians. There was no force to them, only warmth.
Su Miao felt as though she were standing in a wheat field. The wind blew in from afar, sending waves of wheat rolling toward her layer by layer, reaching her feet before receding again.
She closed her eyes.
This time, she did not whimper, laugh, or say anything.
Because she realized she could no longer speak.
The warmth of the Spiritual Qi spread from the top of her head to the soles of her feet, soaking her entire body in a warm ocean.
She felt herself sinking, slowly enough to sense the changing temperature of each layer of water.
When she reached the bottom, she heard Yuanshi's voice drifting from a distant place.
"From now on, you're not allowed to change back in front of outsiders."
