Background

Before her transformation in the Prehistoric World, Su Miao experienced sudden death and transmigration. Exhausted, her soul fell into deep sleep while immersed in Three Lights Divine Water and dense Innate Spiritual Qi. 7

Su Miao’s origin is the Pure World White Lotus. Her soul was wounded before her transformation, leaving her Innate Dao Body incomplete and fixed in the form of a milk baby; Laozi judged that forcing her into an adult body would damage her foundation. 40

The Three Pure Ones accepted responsibility for her upbringing at Kunlun Mountain. Yuanshi bestowed the Daoist name Miao Heng, drawing on her lotus origin and exceptionally pure nature. 43 46 After ten thousand years of teaching, she had developed a solid cultivation foundation without becoming a mere reflection of any one master. 64
