Background / History

Qingfeng Mountain is a Martial Dao sect with more than a thousand years of heritage. Its founding ancestor, the Qingfeng Sword Marquis, was renowned for Qingfeng Swordplay; legend holds that he surpassed the Spirit Aperture Realm into the Dharma Form Realm before dying in a foreign land during the war against the Outer Realm Heavenly Demons. 29 80

Its sphere of influence includes Cangzhou, Yunzhou, and Youzhou, from which many martial artists join the sect. 9 Prospective disciples are assessed through the Mountain Gate Assembly, where entrants are tested for talent and assigned to courtyards. 14

Three hundred years before Chen Qinglin's return to the sect, Qingfeng Mountain discovered a small secret realm inhabited by Green Feather Eagles, Azure Scale Horses, and other Spirit Beasts. Its development led to the creation of Spirit Beast Peak. 68

Chen Qinglin's rise substantially increased the sect's stature. After becoming its youngest Supreme Elder, he lectured to disciples on sword techniques, Sword Intent, Sword Dao Will, and Sword Dao Realm; his presence also drew martial artists from outside the Great Xuan to Qingfeng City. 190 194 195

After Chen Qinglin established the Sword Domain in Dongming Prefecture, Qingfeng Mountain agreed to relocate there and received a mountain range near the Sword Tablet Forest. The Cloud Dwelling Courtyard of Qingyun Peak was subsequently moved to Wood Sword Peak. 343 344

Grounds and Facilities

Qingfeng Mountain consists of a majestic green mountain backed by continuous ranges. White cranes and Green Feather Eagles fly among the peaks, while palace complexes are scattered throughout the mountains; Qingfeng City stands at its foot. 14

Qingfeng Swordplay

Qingfeng Swordplay is a Human-tier top-grade swordplay created or inherited from the Qingfeng Sword Marquis. It is one of only two Human-tier top-grade swordplays held by the sect. 80 82
