Mo Yuanyou is a prince of the Moyuan Dynasty and a descendant of its founder, Mo Yu. Despite his royal origin, he traveled widely through the Eastern Xuan Domain and beyond, seeking out Beast Tide zones and intervening when he encountered suffering. 62 63

During a Beast Tide near the Qingyan Mountain Range, he met Chen Qinglin while confronting black-clothed cultivators and a giant python. The two destroyed the Demon Spirit Transformation Altar, discovered the Blood Origin Tree, and divided its fruits without conflict; Mo Yuanyou offered the fruits freely, while Chen accepted only two for his family. 62 63
