Background / History

The True Spirit World developed a martial path beginning with Body Tempering and progressing through Inner Qi, True Essence Condensation, Origin Embracing, Spirit Aperture, and Dharma Form Realms. Ancient martial sages created Body Tempering methods to lower the barrier for humans entering martial cultivation. 10

The world grew stronger over successive eras as Void Glimpse Realm martial artists died and their cave-heaven secret realms fed back into heaven and earth. During a world-threatening crisis roughly a thousand years before the main story, a martial giant broke into a new realm, elevating the True Spirit World into the ranks of the void's elite worlds. 174

The True Spirit Alliance was established 1,090 years before the events of Chapter 330. It assumed responsibility for major matters affecting the world, selected the regional lords, and operated independently of the Peerless War Emperor's personal will. 330

After developing the Boundary Fixing and Pulling Secret Method, the world began locating and engaging with foreign worlds and World Secret Realms. According to the Heavenly Sun Palace's account, this outward expansion restored origin power depleted by the breakthrough of the prior millennium; after five hundred years, the world could again nurture similarly powerful existences. 208
