Background

Shisui graduated from the Ninja Academy in his third year and became a shinobi early. He spent the following years continually undertaking missions while trying to preserve peace between the Uchiha Clan and the village, leaving him little time to maintain contact with Uchiha Jin. 6

He initially revered Hiruzen Sarutobi and was deeply susceptible to the Hokage's reassurance. Orochimaru's brainwashing compounded this trust, leading Shisui to accept Hiruzen's framing of the Uchiha's internal conflict and vow to suppress the Radical Faction. 9 10
