Su Hao and Class Zero arrived in Shrek City, where Tang Wulin overcame his bloodline breakthrough and joined the others for Shrek Academy’s assessments. The group passed a series of trials, and they entered the eighth assessment with their scores recorded and their opponents awaiting selection.

• Su Hao refused to give the Spirit Pagoda his cannonball or its manufacturing method, then learned that Wu Changkong had chosen the Spirit Ascension Platform for the Final Exam.
• Tang Wulin, Gu Yue, Xie Xie, and Xu Xiaoyan fought through the Riot Period, killed a Man Faced Demon Spider, and Tang Wulin absorbed its External Soul Bone into his Golden Dragon Claw.
• Su Hao chose the Dragon Realm as the target for his Heavenly Dao, and Class Zero arrived in Shrek City, where he found a Sun God Crystal for his Battle Armor.
• When Tang Wulin entered Deep Meditation before the Shrek Academy assessment, Su Hao accelerated time in his room so Tang Wulin could awaken in time to take the exam.
• Su Hao and the others began the assessments, and Su Hao earned full marks in the Dragon Might, beast arena, and guillotine trials.
• Gu Yue revealed control of all four elements and refused Elder Cai’s offer to become her disciple, while Su Hao impressed the examiners with his strength, speed, control, and four Level 4 Professional Medals.
• Tang Wulin ate more than a hundred Steamed Buns in the food trial, and the group completed the endurance assessment with Su Hao scoring sixty-seven and Tang Wulin sixty-five.
• Nan Chengnan led the group into the eighth assessment, where each student had to choose an opponent from ten previous Shrek Academy intake students.

Su Hao and his companions pass Shrek’s trials, enter the Outer Court as work-study students, and begin adjusting to academy life. Su Hao earns recognition as a Level 5 Blacksmith, then joins Tang Wulin’s alliance for the class cadre contest as the students prepare to enter an illusory arena.

• Tang Wulin assigned the match order, and Su Hao defeated Number Five while Tang Wulin lost to Number Ten, Xie Xie was rescued from Number Two, and Gu Yue defeated Number One.
• Xu Xiaoyan used Tang Wulin’s Deep Silver Ring to set up a hammer feint and defeat Number Six, then the group entered the ninth trial together.
• In the simulated forest, the group witnessed a battle between a Dark Gold Dreadclaw Bear and the Three-Eyed Golden Lion, then found and spared the lion’s cub despite its valuable Soul Ring and Soul Bone.
• Nan Chengnan revealed that the forest and lion were simulated, praised the group for their choices, and announced that they had passed the veto trial.
• Zhuo Shi forgave Wu Changkong, and the five students entered the Outer Court as work-study students with a chance to reach the Inner Court by becoming One-Word Battle Armor Masters before age twenty.
• The group settled into their dilapidated dormitory, completed work-study tasks, and learned the costs and obligations of Shrek Academy while Tang Wulin struggled to afford meals.
• Su Hao joined the Blacksmith Association, completed Hao Ren’s Spirit Forging commission, and passed the Level 5 Blacksmith assessment.
• Shen Yi named Su Hao the Forging Committee Member and announced a free-for-all for the class leadership positions, then led the students to pods for the illusory contest.

Su Hao became Class Monitor and demonstrated his overwhelming strength, while Tang Wulin’s group faced setbacks and assembled a team to help Xu Xiaoyan obtain a thousand-year Soul Spirit. The team entered the Spirit Pagoda’s Soul Spirit Tower and advanced through its trials, reaching a difficult battle against four Ice Bears.

• Su Hao won the Class Monitor contest by eliminating the other students with Heavenly Revelation Forecast, and Shen Yi appointed Tang Wulin and Yang Nianxia as Vice Class Monitors.
• Xie Xie accidentally saw Yuanen Yehui bathing and fought her alongside Tang Wulin and Yue Zhengyu, then Elder Cai fined the three boys and ordered Xie Xie to compensate Yuanen.
• Wu Changkong paired Tang Wulin’s group against him in a combat drill, where poor teamwork led to their defeat, while Su Hao later fought Wu Changkong and earned full marks.
• Gu Yue told Tang Wulin that Xu Xiaoyan could seek a thousand-year Soul Spirit through the Spirit Pagoda’s Tower Challenge, and the group recruited Yue Zhengyu and Yuanen Yehui.
• Gu Yue brought the team to meet her teacher, Leng Yaozhu, who recognized Su Hao as Cao Hongwen’s disciple and led them into the Soul Spirit Tower.
• The team cleared the first trial against Wind Wolves after Su Hao attacked them with fire, ice, and intense pressure.
• The group continued through six more trials, with Xie Xie defeating Flame Magic Lions and Yuanen Yehui overcoming six two-thousand-year Soul Beasts.

Su Hao and his companions cleared the Spirit Pagoda trials, helping Xu Xiaoyan and Yuanen Yehui obtain Soul Spirits before Tang Wulin’s group split from Su Hao over Battle Armor plans and the class tournament. Su Hao defeated Tang Wulin’s team in the final and was named class representative for the exchange battle with Grade Two Class One.

• Xu Xiaoyan chose an Ice Bear as her Second Soul Spirit, and the group continued through the Spirit Pagoda stages as Tang Wulin fought the Magic Lizard Dragon and Su Hao faced the Thunder Beast.
• Yuanen Yehui chose the King Kong Baboon for her Fourth Soul Ring, and the group worked together to defeat it before she absorbed its Soul Spirit.
• Leng Yaozhu invited Tang Wulin and his companions to join the Spirit Pagoda, but they declined and learned they had one month to pay for their Soul Spirits.
• Su Hao trained to Soul Power level 38, while Tang Wulin learned Fusion Forging and proposed building upgradeable Battle Armor from Spiritual Alloy, prompting his four-person team to disband.
• Su Hao declined Tang Wulin’s invitation to join his team, while Tang Wulin recruited Xu Lizi and Ye Xinglan and prepared to challenge Wu Sidao’s team in the class selection tournament.
• Tang Wulin’s team defeated Wu Sidao’s team, then Wu Sidao’s team challenged Su Hao’s group and lost after Su Hao eliminated Yang Nianxia and countered Wu Sidao’s Hell White Tiger Blast.
• Tang Wulin’s team faced Su Hao in the final, but Su Hao’s team eliminated Ye Xinglan and Xie Xie and withstood Gu Yue and Tang Wulin’s attacks.
