Ch. 1Crossing into Douluo

On Awakening Day in Aolai City, Su Hao recalled how he had arrived in the world of the third Douluo installment and become Su Lie’s adopted son. As Su Hao prepared to awaken his Martial Soul at the Spirit Pagoda, the story left off before the ceremony began.

  • Su Hao arrived at the Spirit Pagoda with Su Lie for the annual Martial Soul Awakening Day.
  • Su Hao recalled that a shady system had reincarnated him as a newborn and left him with the Golden Legend entries [Heaven-Defying Comprehension] and [Great Fortune], plus a damaged Heart of the Heavenly Dao.
  • When Su Hao was stranded in the wilderness as a child, Su Lie fought a black-robed Evil Soul Master who threatened to devour him.
  • Su Hao used the remaining power of the Heart of the Heavenly Dao to summon a lightning strike that killed the Evil Soul Master, then fell unconscious.
  • Su Lie took in Su Hao and completed his adoption papers, and Su Hao later learned he was in the world of the third Douluo installment.

Ch. 2Martial Soul Awakening

Su Hao awakened the Heart of the Heavenly Dao as a mutated Body Martial Soul with control over five elements and Innate Full Soul Power. He accepted the Spirit Master's invitation to join the Spirit Pagoda, and Su Lie supported his decision.

  • Su Lie brought Su Hao to the Spirit Pagoda's special passage and sent him with a Spirit Master to awaken his Martial Soul.
  • During the awakening, Su Hao glimpsed a void filled with stars and mirrors connected to other worlds, then returned to the awakening room.
  • Su Hao discovered that the Heart of the Heavenly Dao had become his Martial Soul and was absorbing scattered energy; the Spirit Master identified it as a likely five-element mutation of his heart.
  • Su Hao injected Soul Power into a Soul Tool, which measured his Innate Soul Power at level ten.
  • The Spirit Master invited Su Hao to join the Spirit Pagoda, and Su Hao accepted because its small worlds could help him repair his Small Plane.
  • The Spirit Master promised to process Su Hao's enrollment, and Su Lie supported his choice.

Ch. 3Tang Wulin

Su Hao began attending Red Mountain Academy and met Tang Wulin, whose Blue Silver Grass had pale-gold threads at its roots. Su Hao befriended Tang Wulin to pursue the Life Core and other treasures, and the chapter ended as they walked home together and Tang Wulin suddenly stopped.

  • Su Hao chose Red Mountain Academy, and Su Lie agreed to let him attend.
  • Su Hao entered the soul master class, saw Tang Wulin reveal his Blue Silver Grass, and told the class that his heart Martial Soul had Innate Soul Power Level 10.
  • Lin Ximeng introduced the class to Martial Souls and soul master cultivation, while Su Hao recognized the lessons and practiced the Meditation Method Su Lie had taught him.
  • Su Hao decided to wait seven days for the Spirit Pagoda's promised top-grade Soul Spirit and planned to befriend Tang Wulin to gain a chance at the Life Core.
  • Tang Wulin introduced himself and asked to be friends, and Su Hao accepted and deliberately won his trust.
  • Su Hao left school with Tang Wulin despite his driver's nearby escort, and Tang Wulin suddenly stopped along the way.

Ch. 4Na'er

Su Hao recognized the silver-haired Na'er and intervened when hoodlums tried to abduct her, using his bodyguard to drive them away. Na'er revealed that she had no family, and Su Hao stood poised to offer her protection before Tang Wulin could.

  • Su Hao recognized Na'er as one of Gu Yuena's doppelgangers and considered taking her in before Tang Wulin.
  • Hoodlums surrounded Na'er and planned to sell her on the black market, but Su Hao stopped Tang Wulin from confronting them rashly.
  • Su Hao challenged the hoodlums, and his bodyguard stepped in and forced them to flee.
  • Su Hao comforted Na'er and promised to protect her, while Tang Wulin also offered his protection.
  • Na'er said her name was Na'er and that she had no family, and Tang Wulin prepared to offer to take her in before Su Hao spoke.

Ch. 5Adopting Na'er

Su Hao brought Na'er to the City Lord's Mansion, where Su Lie agreed to adopt her, and she settled into her new home. A week later, Su Hao chose to draw two Hundred-Year Spirits from the Spirit Pagoda's pool and accepted the benefits offered with that option.

  • Su Hao invited Na'er home, and she accepted; Tang Wulin introduced himself to her before heading home.
  • Tang Wulin told Lang Yue what had happened, and she warned him against acting impulsively before he helped prepare dinner.
  • Su Hao took Na'er to the City Lord's Mansion, where Su Lie agreed to adopt her after hearing she had no family.
  • Na'er ate several times as much as Su Hao and Su Lie, then chose a room and settled in; over the following week, Su Hao and Tang Wulin became close friends.
  • A Spirit Pagoda staff member offered Su Hao a suitable Hundred-Year Spirit or a random draw of two, and Su Hao chose the draw.
  • The staff member gave Su Hao a Soul Tool Ring, Spirit Cards, and a Spirit Ascension Card, along with weekly Spirit Ascension Platform access until he reached Three Rings.

Ch. 6Mighty Demonic Bull

Su Hao went to the Spirit Pagoda and drew a powerful Hundred-Year Soul Spirit, the Mighty Demonic Bull. He absorbed it at home under Su Lie’s supervision and began testing his new Soul Spirit as Su Lie asked about his First Soul Skill.

  • Su Hao told Su Lie he planned to draw his Soul Spirit on Friday, then spent two days waiting for the visit.
  • After school, Su Hao left Tang Wulin and went to the Spirit Pagoda, where he drew a Mighty Demonic Bull with the Ultimate Power attribute and an 860-year cultivation.
  • A Spirit Pagoda staff member registered Su Hao and explained that he would need to try taking on work there once a week after entering middle school.
  • Su Hao returned home and explained to Su Lie why he believed he could absorb the Mighty Demonic Bull despite having the Elemental Power Martial Soul.
  • Su Lie agreed to supervise as Su Hao absorbed the Soul Spirit, which appeared afterward as a yellow Soul Ring and a small bull on his shoulder.
  • Su Lie asked Su Hao how his First Soul Skill felt as Su Hao played with the Mighty Demonic Bull.

Ch. 7Incomplete Law of Strength

Su Hao concealed the true nature of his First Soul Ring, which was an Incomplete Law of Strength, and began planning ways to turn its power into attacks. After discovering his Soul Power was being compressed rather than increasing normally, he devoted himself to studying every Second Profession and passed all their Level 1 examinations in two months.

  • Su Hao told Su Lie and Na'er that his First Soul Skill only provided passive support, while hiding that he had gained an Incomplete Law of Strength.
  • After Su Lie and Na'er left, Su Hao considered creating a long-range attack by rubbing the air with his strength, then returned to cultivation.
  • Su Hao discovered that his Soul Power was being compressed within his current level, and several days of experiments with Su Lie confirmed it.
  • Su Hao decided to learn every Second Profession so that future Battle Armor and mecha work could be tailored to his needs without revealing his Martial Soul's details.
  • Su Lie gathered Second Profession masters in Aolai City to teach Su Hao, and Su Hao passed every Level 1 examination within two months.
  • The Second Profession masters were shocked by Su Hao's progress and worked harder to teach him, hoping to share in his future fame.

Ch. 8Second Soul Spirit

After two and a half years, Na'er remained stuck at rank ten because her Silver Dragon Spear rejected ordinary Soul Spirits, while Su Hao broke through to rank twenty and went to the Spirit Pagoda for a Second Soul Spirit. He drew a rare 958-year-old Elemental Spirit and told Su Lie about its powers when he returned home.

  • Na'er studied at Red Mountain Academy with Su Hao and Tang Wulin, but she could not absorb a Soul Spirit despite reaching rank ten; Su Hao taught her spear techniques to help her defend herself.
  • Su Hao broke through to rank twenty and decided to seek a Second Soul Spirit, since his first Soul Spirit was already condensing a strength-related Soul Ring and he had created Air Cannon himself.
  • Su Lie agreed that Su Hao could draw a Second Soul Spirit at the Spirit Pagoda, and Su Hao and Na'er went there after school.
  • A Spirit Pagoda staff member explained that Su Hao had drawn a rare 958-year-old Elemental Spirit capable of granting five common elements and four rare ones, including the little-understood Wei Li.
  • Su Hao accepted the Elemental Spirit, returned home with Na'er, and explained the draw to Su Lie.

Ch. 9Na'er's Departure

Su Hao absorbed an Elemental Spirit, gained control over several laws, and named the fusion of Attraction and Repulsion the Mind Power Law. After Na'er left, Su Hao graduated with perfect scores and prepared to attend Eastsea Academy alongside Tang Wulin.

  • Su Hao absorbed the Elemental Spirit, formed his Second Soul Ring, and awakened the Five Elements, Lightning, Time and Space, and Mind Power laws.
  • Su Hao demonstrated his Elemental Control to Su Lie and Na'er, then spent the next two months attending school with Na'er.
  • Na'er asked Su Hao whether he would miss her if she disappeared, and the next morning he found her letter and learned she had left.
  • Su Hao graduated with perfect scores and received an admission notice from Eastsea Academy; Tang Wulin also reached level ten and chose an Inferior Soul Spirit.

Ch. 10Thousand Forging Second Grade

Su Hao passed the Level 3 Mech Designer Assessment and then forged Starfall Iron to Thousand Forging Second Grade for his Blacksmith Assessment. A surprised visitor praised his skill and asked if he would answer a few questions.

  • Su Hao registered for the Level 3 Mech Designer Assessment and completed its blueprint in half the allotted time, earning his Level 3 Certification Medal.
  • Su Hao passed most of his remaining Second Profession assessments and postponed the Blacksmith Assessment until the next morning, when Tang Wulin was due to arrive in Eastsea City.
  • Su Hao registered for the Level 3 Blacksmith Assessment and chose Starfall Iron to forge.

Ch. 11Heaven and Earth Forging Method

Su Hao passed the Level 4 Blacksmith assessment and met Mu Chen, who offered to teach him after Su Hao explained the Heaven and Earth Forging Style. Su Hao reunited with Tang Wulin, and the two registered at Eastsea Academy.

  • Su Hao told Mu Chen that only he and Tang Wulin had learned the Heaven and Earth Forging Style, then declined Mu Chen's offer to become his master because he already had a teacher.
  • Mu Chen awarded Su Hao a Level 4 Blacksmith Medal and left the Blacksmith Association.
  • Su Hao went to the Eastsea City station, found Tang Wulin, and told him about passing the assessment and Mu Chen's offer.
  • Su Hao told Tang Wulin he could teach Mu Chen the Heaven and Earth Forging Style if he wanted, and Tang Wulin was moved by Su Hao's trust.

  • Su Hao left for the East Sea Spirit Pagoda and used his Work Badge to complete a form, selecting researcher.
  • A staff member named Qin An explained that Cao Hongwen was the East Sea Pagoda Master and a Level 8 Soul Tool Master, then took Su Hao to meet him.
  • Cao Hongwen confirmed that the headquarters had assigned Su Hao to study under him and told him to attend lessons every Saturday beginning the next week.
  • Cao Hongwen gave Su Hao several books to read before his first lesson, and Su Hao left the Spirit Pagoda with them.

Ch. 15Learning Soul Tools

Su Hao studied Soul Tool theory after returning from the Spirit Pagoda, then told his dormmates about his new research role. The next morning, Dong Yuan approached him with several students hoping to join his side in a contest over Class Monitor, but Su Hao said he was not interested before class interrupted them.

  • Su Hao read Research on Soul Tools until Ma Tianyu and the other two returned, then ate after realizing he had missed dinner.
  • Su Hao told his dormmates that he was a Spirit Pagoda researcher and would begin studying there the following Saturday.

  • The next morning, Dong Yuan and several students asked to join Su Hao's team because they opposed Zhang Yangzi's recruiting for the Class Monitor contest.
  • Su Hao said he did not care much about becoming Class Monitor and advised Dong Yuan not to turn Zhang Yangzi into an enemy; the class bell sent them back to their seats.
  • Ye Yingluo arrived and began the theory lesson.

Ch. 16Class Monitor Election

Ye Yingluo held a class monitor election through a six-round combat tournament. Su Hao defeated Ge Fei with a single Air Cannon, and he and Yang Sen were the only students from their dormitory to advance from the first round as the second round began.

Ye Yingluo arranged a final match to choose the Class Monitor, and Su Hao volunteered to fight Zhang Yangzi, Wei Xiaofeng, and Wang Jinxi all at once.

  • Su Hao sent his charging opponent flying with one punch, knocking him unconscious and forcing him out of Martial Soul Possession.
  • After Su Hao's victory, Level 18 and Level 19 students began surrendering to stronger opponents, so Ye Yingluo stopped having them compete.
  • Ye Yingluo said Su Hao and the other three contenders would fight for the Class Monitor position after resting for five minutes.
