Tang San was raised by his father, Tang Hao, whom he initially regarded as a neglectful drunkard; Tang San performed the household work from childhood. Yu Xiaogang's care made Tang San view him as a father figure, strengthening their master-disciple bond. 129

He entered the Star Dou Great Forest to acquire a third Soul Ring and endured extreme pain while absorbing a Man Faced Demon Spider Soul Ring that exceeded 2,000 years. The absorption transformed his body, evolved his Blue Silver Grass, and produced the Eight Spider Lances. 239 240 241
