Background / History

Lu Ming is a transmigrator who has lived for tens of thousands of years. Though his original Martial Soul was Blue Silver Grass, he repeatedly evolved it over a vast period into the Nine-Colored Blue Silver Grass, a Creation-tier existence. His longevity and his appearances throughout history caused many observers to mistake “Lu Ming” for a shared codename rather than a single person. 1 94 131

He became the benefactor and ancestor of the Ye Family after improving flaws in the Nine Heart Begonia lineage and leaving behind a manuscript that preserved the family’s inheritance. The family’s genealogy identifies him as its ancestor. 7 165

Thirty thousand years before the main events, Lu Ming formed a bond with Gu Yuena, the Silver Dragon King. Their relationship endured through her long wait for him, and Gu Yuena later publicly identifies herself as his official wife. 159 168

Lu Ming also acted as a mentor to several future gods and influential Soul Masters. He saved and trained Qian Renxue during her childhood, evolved her Angel Martial Soul, accepted Shui Bing’er as a disciple, and helped multiple others evolve their Martial Souls. 66 99 139

After defeating the Water God, Fire God, and God King of Destruction, Lu Ming entered the God Realm’s Central Hall and forced its deities to submit. He stripped the God King of Destruction of his position, imprisoned him for ten thousand years, and established new restrictions on travel between the God Realm and Lower Realm. 255

Appearance

Lu Ming usually appears as a youthful man in white robes despite his immense age. His black hair falls loosely around his shoulders, and his demeanor combines indolence with an imposing, otherworldly calm. 61 66

  • Sword-like eyebrows and deep, star-like eyes. 201
  • Jade-like, sharply defined facial features. 201
  • Frequently dressed in spotless white. 61 146
  • Maintains the appearance of a man in his early twenties even decades after meeting Xue Ke. 66

Personality

Lu Ming is notably detached from worldly status, wealth, and rankings. He treats a complete set of Hundred Thousand Year Soul Bones as disposable and regards even his first-place ranking as a minor diversion. 7 146

His confidence stems from overwhelming power. He remains calm when challenged by gods, Soul Beasts, or First-level Gods, and he often resolves major threats with casual gestures. 133 195 255

Despite his ruthlessness toward enemies, Lu Ming is protective and attentive toward people he values. He rescued Ah Yin, healed Bibi Dong when she was vulnerable, carefully trained Qian Renxue and Shui Bing’er, and shares a gentle, intimate relationship with Gu Yuena. 40 139 201 202
