Within those conduits flowed high-purity elemental energy drawn directly from the Level 7 Large Elemental Pool. Simply standing nearby, one could feel that vast pulse, so dense it seemed almost tangible.
More than a million Black Giants were working simultaneously under the command of a group of Black Giant Priests.
Some carried Flame-Pattern Stone Slabs larger than themselves from the direction of the teleportation arrays, carefully embedding them deep into the trenches after landing. Some hovered in midair, using low-frequency vibration waves emitted from the vertical openings in their chests to calibrate rune precision. Others welded the joints of the energy conduits, scattering elemental sparks that burst across the wasteland like fleeting, blazing flowers
