Benjamin carried two freshly forged Rune Artifacts through the teleportation array and arrived deep within the star region of the Purgatory Sulfur Plane.
This had originally been an area specifically used to store subordinate planets of refined stars, but Benjamin had now ordered the Black Giants to clear out a section here as a Testing Ground.
Looking at the distant planets serving as targets, Benjamin first tested the Rune Artifact engraved with Final Ray.
He mobilized his mental power and activated the core array within the Rune Artifact in his hand.
Boom!
A blinding beam erupted from the spell array released at the front end of the Rune Artifact.
The light unleashed in that instant illuminated the entire testing area as brightly as day.
Wherever the beam passed, even the structure of space was torn apart. Every meteorite and asteroid placed along its path as a target was almost completely vaporized the instant it touched the beam.
In nearly the blink of an eye, the beam pierced through the entire testing area, then through the solid planet behind it that served as the ultimate target, before finally vanishing into the depths of the universe.
After the beam pierced through it, the solid planet serving as the final target exploded where it stood. Its shattered crust and mantle were vaporized into gas almost in the blink of an eye, while a visible shockwave spread outward through space in the shape of a sphere.
The shockwave formed from that immense mass even swept several nearby asteroids that had not been far enough away into destruction.
Benjamin lowered his head to glance at the recorded parameters on the testing instruments beside him, and his brows rose involuntarily.
Final Ray had originally been merely a spell that simulated a supernova explosion, yet after being
