"Then let me see how much research value you insects have!"
The President had clearly sensed Wizard Noren and the others' attitude. His voice had lost every trace of its lofty condescension.
In its place were undisguised anger and mocking scorn.
His enormous body, as vast as a planet, slowly turned. Countless thick metal structures meshed together, runes and energy circuits lit up across his surface, and paths of light ran through his entire mechanical frame.
Benjamin could clearly feel it: at that moment, he had truly come "alive."
An even more terrifying pressure spread outward. Benjamin merely glanced through the defensive barrier Wizard Noren had raised, and his scalp went numb.
The pressure bore directly on his soul and consciousness. Benjamin felt as though an entire world were slowly descending upon his Spirit Sea.
His fingers tightened instinctively. "So this is Level 9—"
When he had faced that pressure before, Benjamin had thought it was the limit. He had never imagined it was only an "energy-saving mode."
Only now was the President revealing his true power.
The lingering force alone left Benjamin feeling as though he could not breathe.
Before Benjamin could recover, the two sides had already clashed.
BOOM!!!
They moved so fast that Benjamin could not even see what happened.
Terrifying power erupted. His vision was swallowed in an instant by absolute light and darkness, and spacetime was crushed to pieces.
An incomprehensible ripple swept through the depths of the void. Then even more terrifying forces collided head-on.
BOOM!
Everything seemed to tremble.
Benjamin's consciousness fell into chaos almost instantly.
He had not even been struck by the battle's true aftershock. The sheer force that spilled naturally from their collision was enough to make his puppet body groan under the strain.
Crack—
At last, cracks spread across
