Arc 9The Pegasus V432 Stand

Li Qingsong built a trap-filled defense at Pegasus V432 and forced the Machina Calamity fleet to retreat, buying time to pursue a breakthrough in physics. He then devoted the system’s resources to testing his Grand Unified Model, but thousands of days of observations revealed no proton decays.

  • Li Qingsong redirected his fleet to Pegasus V342 and spent decades building an industrial network, defenses, and a vast arsenal while preparing for the Machina Calamity’s arrival.
  • The Machina Calamity attacked Li Qingsong’s forces, but he drew its fleet toward Pegasus V432 and threatened to trigger a destructive stellar flare with hydrogen-bomb ships.
  • Akainu ordered the Machina Calamity fleet to retreat through the asteroid belt, where hydrogen-bomb traps destroyed or damaged most of its warships.
  • Akainu later sent raiding ships toward Li Qingsong’s hydrogen-bomb ships, but Li Qingsong attacked the fleet’s vulnerable vessels and forced the Machina Calamity to abandon its bases and withdraw.
  • Li Qingsong calculated that the enemy would need at least 305 years to return and focused on physics research, building a Neutrino Telescope and then planning one thousand Proton Decay Detectors.
  • Li Qingsong and the Blueprint Humans built Proton Decay Detectors across more than a thousand worlds, then began developing Magnetic Monopole Detectors and manufacturing helium-3 through deuterium-deuterium fusion.
  • Li Qingsong built more than 500 Magnetic Monopole Detectors and analyzed over one hundred million Cherenkov Radiation events without finding proton decays, leading him to suspect the proton’s lifespan was at least 10^42 years.

Arc 10The Strong Nuclear Flight

Li Qingsong confirmed proton decay, completed his Grand Unified Theory, and transformed his fleet into a Strong Nuclear Civilization while fleeing the returning Machina Calamity fleet. The arc left him confronting the Havilah Civilization, whose leaders prepared to defend their system as Li Qingsong steered toward its valuable Second Planet.

  • Li Qingsong detected a magnetic monopole, devised a hydrogen-based detector, and confirmed proton decay through its faint vibrations.
  • Li Qingsong built a particle collider, observed X and Y Bosons, and completed his Grand Unified Theory, becoming a Strong Nuclear Civilization.
  • Li Qingsong assembled the Flying Star and six fleets, then fled Pegasus V432 as the Machina Calamity fleet returned and pursued him.
  • Li Qingsong developed Super Distance Communication and Neural Chips, tested Strong Nuclear weapons, and used the Flying Star’s resources to overhaul his fleet.
  • Li Qingsong completed a vast unmanned fleet, reached half the speed of light, and changed course toward a nearby star system to replenish supplies.
  • Havilah first ordered Li Qingsong to leave its system, then offered him a planet and supplies as its fleet approached.
  • Li Qingsong turned back toward Havilah’s system after suspecting its offer could trap his fleet, and his probes found extensive industry and spacecraft traffic.
  • Li Qingsong rejected Havilah’s supervised settlement terms, aimed for the Second Planet, and provoked its people while Haimolan ordered the military to defend the system.

Arc 11The Electromagnetic Cataclysm

Li Qingsong captured Second Planet, rebuilt his forces, and drove the Havilah Civilization from Lyra G16, only to face the Electromagnetic Cataclysm Lifeforms. After failed attempts to destroy or negotiate with them, he learned they would pursue technological civilizations, while the battered Havilah Fleet detected a much larger unidentified force approaching.

  • Li Qingsong used a Unified Force Field to devastate the Havilah fleet and capture Second Planet, while Haimolan ordered its people and facilities destroyed rather than let them fall into enemy hands.
  • Li Qingsong rebuilt his forces and industry on Second Planet, then expanded his fleet across the system until Haimolan activated the Calamity Plan and attempted to flee.
  • Li Qingsong surrounded the Havilah Fleet at Planet Three, but the Havilah Aerospace Carriers released flame-like entities that ravaged his forces and covered the fleet’s escape.
  • Li Qingsong developed Energy Artillery shells that destroyed the flame-like creatures, and a Havilah survivor identified them as the intelligent Electromagnetic Cataclysm.
  • Li Qingsong discovered that the creatures were affecting Lyra G16’s star and stayed in the system to prepare, while its lifeforms began firing concentrated starlight at his ships and installations.
  • Li Qingsong attacked the star with repeated hydrogen bomb barrages, but the lifeforms returned and resumed their assaults, so he offered to share the system with them.
  • The Electromagnetic Cataclysm rejected Li Qingsong’s offer and vowed to exterminate technological civilizations, while the Havilah Fleet detected an unidentified force at least three times its size approaching.

Arc 12The Lyra G16 War

Li Qingsong prepared for the Havilah-Machina Calamity Alliance by building new battleships and a second-generation Unified Force Field, then used the Electric Calamity and the Fixed Star Cannon to devastate Planet One. As the Alliance tried to regroup, Li Qingsong unleashed his Force Field Weapon, leaving its shields dark and its warships torn apart.

  • Li Qingsong dismantled a dwarf planet into cubes, threatened the Electromagnetic Cataclysms with them, and destroyed the lifeforms by sending the cubes into Lyra G16 Star.
  • Haimolan joined forces with the Machina Calamity, while Li Qingsong developed new fusion technology, built Mars-class Battleships, and began work on a second-generation Unified Force Field.
  • Haimolan’s researchers developed the Variable Energy Shield, and the Havilah-Machina Calamity Alliance brought its fleet to Lyra G16 Star as Li Qingsong prepared more than four million warships.
  • Li Qingsong and the Alliance fought across the system, and after the Alliance seized Planet One, it rebuilt the planet into its industrial center while Li Qingsong replenished his forces.
  • Li Qingsong called on the Electric Calamity, whose concentrated starlight devastated Planet One and forced the Alliance to retreat amid widespread destruction and casualties.
  • Li Qingsong revealed that he had made an alliance with the Electromagnetic Lifeforms, modified them into the Electric Calamity, and developed their attack into the Fixed Star Cannon.
  • As the Alliance prepared to return to Planet One, Li Qingsong used 3.5 billion clones to complete the Force Field Weapon, whose X and Y Bosons overwhelmed the Variable Energy Shields and tore through enemy warships.
