History

Fate Severing Tower

Before Li Yuan's split soul entered him, Jue Ming was a dying Fate-less prisoner in the deepest cell of the Fate Severing Tower. His body was emaciated, his Fate Star Map had shattered into fragments, and the tower planned to refine his corpse into Fate Shattering Pills after his death. 424

Li Yuan's split soul and Jue Ming's remnant soul fused completely, transforming the remains of Jue Ming's shattered Fate into a Void Vortex. He immediately used it to consume the Fates of two guards and an elder, destroying their cultivation and escaping his cell. 424

He climbed the tower by devouring its guardians' Fates, including Si Xing's Torture Fate, the Twins' Mist Fate, and the old prisoner's Self-Regret Fate. Consuming the latter freed the old man from a lifelong curse of regret. 425

On the third level, Jue Ming consumed the True Man of Fate Severing's Fate threads, nine Fate Swords, and Fate Severing Star Chart, reducing the tower master to a mortal. He exited as the Fate Severing Tower collapsed behind him. 426

Conflict with the Fate Value Hall and Heavenly Mandate Sect

Jue Ming accepted an invitation to the Fate Value Hall's Qingshi Branch after its stewards identified his absence of Fate as a possible Void Fate. When Helmsman Zhou and three Fate Modification Realm subordinates attempted to seize him, Jue Ming consumed their Fates and treated them as a meal. 427 428

The Heavenly Mandate Sect began hunting him as a Fate-less One carrying the forbidden Void Fate. Jue Ming defeated their pursuing cultivators, devoured portions of their Fates, and acquired resistances to restraints, sword qi, illusions, poison, and tracking Marks. 429 430

He then advanced openly on the sect's Fate Mountain Range. Search for Special Fates

In Ashstone Town, Jue Ming intervened when Heavenly Mandate Sect disciples harassed an old man selling a Guard Simplicity Mirror. He revealed the old man's hidden Guard Simplicity Fate, damaged Jian Wuchen's Sword Fate, and refined its remaining stars into a purer form. 436 437

He partially consumed Chu Yunhe's Tiger-Python Dual Fate, resolving the conflict between its two aspects while reducing Chu Yunhe's realm. Jue Ming then gave the old man a jade pendant that concealed his newly revealed Fate. 437

Bai Wei led him to Falling Star Valley, where unusual Fate holders gathered. There, Jue Ming obtained a fragment of the Forbidden Technique of Fate Grafting and accepted the shapeshifting being later called Thousand Faces as a follower. 438 439

After devouring Seven-Day Old Man's Annihilation Rebirth Fate, Jue Ming learned that the Heavenly Mandate Sect intended to use the Myriad Fates Return to One Grand Formation to extract regional Fates and forge Heavenly Dao Fate Fragments. 439 440

Collapse of the Old Fate Order

Jue Ming destroyed Fate Puppets created as experimental components of the sect's Fate Array and copied their array model into his cognition. He then marched on Heavenly Mandate Mountain to seize the forming Heavenly Dao Fate Fragment. 441

He defeated Ming Tianzi, devoured his River of Destiny Fate, shattered the sect's defenses, and used the Return to Void Seal to erase the Nine Fate Heavenly Dragon Array within a thousand-zhang radius. 442 443

At the summit, Jue Ming withstood the Heavenly Mandate Sect Master's Heavenly Dao manifestation. He deduced its structure, evolved Pseudo Heavenly Dao Authority, and absorbed the Heavenly Dao Fragment. 444

Appearance

Jue Ming initially appeared as a severely malnourished prisoner whose bones showed through his skin, with barely any strength remaining and shattered Fate fragments above his head. After awakening, his most conspicuous feature became his Chaos-colored eyes, which replaced his former empty darkness. 424
