Background / History

Dou Po Academy was rebuilt over eighteen years by Zhou Xu after his arrival in Douluo Continent. Through the Dou Qi Preaching System, Zhou Xu could summon Battle Through the Heavens characters and restore the academy to its peak. By Chapter 1, it had become a divine-realm-like institution intended to condense Origin Qi and support Zhou Xu's ascent to Dou God. 1

The academy stands within the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well in Sunset Forest. Its visible structure centers on a colossal bronze pillar reaching into the clouds, topped by floating golden palaces linked by rainbow bridges. 1

Initially unknown to the continent, the academy was exposed when Meng Yi Ran entered the Heavenly Pride Ranking. The revelation of its Dou Qi system and its disciples' cross-system strength prompted investigations from Martial Soul Hall, the Heaven Dou and Star Luo Empires, the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, and the Clear Sky Sect. 19 20 21
