Background / History

Lu Feng was originally a 21st-century delivery driver. After a fatal accident, he transmigrated into the body of another Lu Feng, a Qinglu County constable suffering from a head wound after an attack linked to the Caobang Gang. He inherited the original owner’s memories and discovered a Proficiency Panel that increases martial-skill proficiency through practice. 1

At the beginning of his new life, he faced pressure from his uncle’s family, who coveted his constable position. Lu Tianming attempted to arrange his marriage and seize the post for Lu Qiming; Lu Feng refused and suspected their involvement in the attack against him. 2 3

Lu Feng cultivated obsessively, using raw beef and later Exotic Beast meat to replenish himself after breakthroughs. His rapid advancement turned him from an overlooked constable into a martial prodigy. 7 9 14

After Lu Qiming and Caobang leader Li An ambushed him on West Street, Lu Feng defeated Li An, captured Lu Qiming, and crippled the latter’s right arm. 10 11 He subsequently won the Qinglu County Captain selection, defeating Wang Dahai and Chen Yu while holding back against opponents he did not personally hate. 17 18 County Magistrate Wang Lichuan appointed him Captain. 21

As his strength grew, Lu Feng killed the corrupt Captain Wang, who had colluded with Lu Qiming’s family against him. On the same night, he rescued Wang Lichuan from Northern Wei scouts while concealing his identity under the name Fengyun. 29 30

Lu Feng placed first in the Baiyue Martial Arts Examination and helped eliminate Northern Wei scouts at White Tiger Mountain, killing Second-Rank Grandmaster Hu Yanbo. 48 56 He later returned to Qinglu County, suppressed East Mountain Stockade, and learned from Lei Bao that the original owner’s father had been pursued and killed by the Zhou Family. 65 66

His conflicts widened to include the Zhou Family, Northern Wei, and the Great Yan imperial court. He killed King Pingnan’s forces, confronted King Pingnan himself, and eventually settled his grievances with Lu Qiming’s branch of the family by killing Lu Qiming, Lu Tianxiang, and their mothers. 111 113 118

In the capital, Lu Feng clashed with princes and Great Grandmasters, earned the respect of Emperor Xuanyuan Wentian, and was offered the post of Supreme Imperial Clan Enshrine. 134 138 154 After reaching the Innate Realm, he protected Shangguan Jin, annihilated a 45,000-strong Northern Wei army, and fought Northern Wei’s Innate Realm powers. 152 160 163

Personality

Lu Feng is observant, cautious, and deeply suspicious of people whose motives do not align with their words. He quickly recognizes the schemes surrounding his constable position and refuses to yield to threats from family, gangs, or officials. 2 3 7

He is confident in battle and willing to take calculated risks, such as betting a thousand taels on himself during the Captain selection. 17 Despite his confidence, he often restrains himself against opponents who have not personally wronged him. 18

Lu Feng is fiercely vengeful toward those who try to kill him or harm people he considers his own. He kills Captain Wang, settles his feud with Lu Qiming’s family, and pursues King Pingnan to avenge fallen comrades. 30 109 118

He remains composed around powerful figures, including Shangguan Li and Elder Long, neither acting arrogant nor servile. 138 154 He also values self-reliance, believing personal martial strength is more dependable than political status. 142

Abilities & Skills

Proficiency Panel

  • Its residual Palm Force can remain after collisions with an opponent’s attack. 138

Peiyuan Gong / Guben Peiyuan Gong

A cultivation technique responsible for Lu Feng’s realm advancement and recovery.

  • Originally Mid-Grade Upper-Tier Peiyuan Gong. 29

  • Gains an additional body-strengthening effect after evolving. 153
  • Later advances to Superior Grade. 176
