Luther lowered his head to read a dossier marked [Confidential] at the top, his expression cold.

It read:

[Name: Ince Zangwill, former Archbishop of the Church, a Gatekeeper whose advancement had failed.

Record: In 13XX, he joined the Church of Evernight and became a priest's deacon. In 13XX, due to his excellent performance, he was promoted to priest... In 13XX, his advancement to Sequence 4, "Undying," failed. He subsequently applied to the Cathedral for advancement again, but was rejected. His emotions became unstable as a result, and he fled with Sealed Artifact 0-08. He later arrived in Tingen and used 0-08 to inflict severe damage upon the local Nighthawks team, taking Saint Selena's ashes with him...

Based on reasonable conjecture, Ince Zangwill had most likely switched pathways and advanced to Sequence 4, "Nightwatcher."

After leaving Tingen, the target was suspected to have returned to Backlund and cooperated with the Demoness Sect, resulting in the Great Smog of Backlund. He had once appeared within. A special team had been dispatched to hunt him down, but no trace of him had yet been found in Backlund. It was presumed that he might be lying low, or had already reached another region...]

Luther cursed inwardly. Not only had the key parts of the dossier been blacked out, but the clues also seemed to have run dry. That damn Ince Zangwill was still beyond the Church's reach, enjoying his life.

His fingers brushed over those blacked-out blocks of text.

From his deductions, the redacted information should have been related to the Loen Royal Family. Klein had previously shared the relevant intelligence with him; Ince Zangwill seemed to have reached some sort of cooperation with the Royal Family.

It really hadn't been unfair at all for him
