A Visit

"It's a little messy inside, so please don't mind it..."

Fors hurriedly ushered the two of them into her home.

Their visit had indeed been rather sudden, and she had been completely unprepared.

Thirty minutes ago, Fors had been thinking about the opening of her new book; twenty minutes ago, after racking her brains, she had decided to give up, collapsed onto her bed, and taken a nap; ten minutes ago, a black-haired, red-eyed woman had suddenly appeared and forcibly woken her from her sweet dream.

Her strongest impression of the woman was that she was absurdly beautiful.

She wore an asymmetrical black dress that somehow suited her temperament strangely well, and she was as exquisite as a work of art.

The woman possessed an overwhelming presence, her scrutinizing gaze cutting across Fors's face like knives. Fors had not even had the courage to question why the woman had appeared in her home. She had only instinctively felt that her messy room was utterly unworthy of such a beautiful woman, leaving her feeling guilty as though she had done something wrong.

The letter's contents were simple. In a very matter-of-fact tone, Mr. Temperance informed her that he would be bringing the World to visit her and discuss their subsequent plans for dealing with the Aurora Order.

To be honest, Fors had been completely dumbfounded after reading the letter.
