"Let's just put them out of their misery already."

Walking into the storage room beneath the deck, Rod looked at the two men soaking in the fish tank and couldn't help saying it.

Since both men were Devil Fruit users—and one of them had the particularly troublesome Bomb Fruit—Pekoms and the others had followed their usual method to prevent anything going wrong. They had submerged the men completely in seawater, leaving only the tops of their heads above the surface so they could breathe.

After two days soaking in seawater, the men looked so wretched that even Rod found it hard to stomach.

"Then I'll begin."

Luo, on the other hand, remained unfazed.

Leaving aside his status as a doctor, he had seen things far more horrifying than this when he was a child.

What exactly were they going to do?

Genos followed them inside. Looking at everyone gathered in a circle and the anticipation faintly visible on their faces, he felt a sudden nervousness for some reason.

Nia, standing beside Genos, explained it to him.

Though the man was far too lazy to fight her, he was still a crewmate, after all.

"We're trying to figure out how it works and turn that randomness into certainty."

Hearing Nia's explanation, Genos's breath caught. He stared intently at what was happening before him.

"Same as always. The cushion."

Rod pointed at Miss Valentine.

Compared to the Bomb Fruit, the Kilo-Kilo Fruit had far less potential.

For starters, the Donquixote Family had a Ton-Ton Fruit user. Its growth potential and upper limit were much higher.

"ROOM: Isolation Room!"

Luo activated his power with practiced ease
