"Brother."
Kakashi's eyes widened, his hands clenched into tight fists, veins bulging. He couldn't accept the reality before him.
"You've gone too far, you Uchiha brat."
Asakawa said angrily. As the referee, failing to protect a contestant's life was negligence.
He didn't know if Karot could withstand the Great Fireball, and even if he could, he would suffer severe burns.
"Accidents are inevitable during battles, you can't avoid them. You should know that clearly."
The other party didn't care at all and directly retorted to Asakawa.
"You're making me very angry right now, Uchiha. You almost ruined my clothes."
The "no damage despite smoke" from Dragon Ball was presented for the first time in the world of Naruto, accompanied by Karot's rage.
Just then, the flames dissipated, and Karot's figure appeared before everyone.
"Karot, are you alright?"
Seeing Karot unharmed, Asakawa stepped forward and asked with concern. This student had given him too many surprises.
"Teacher, please continue the exam. It's not over yet."
Karot's tone was calm, as if he was suppressing himself, like the quiet before a volcanic eruption.
"You've already survived ten moves. You've passed the exam."
Asakawa didn't want Karot to duel with this dangerous Uchiha any longer; it was too dangerous.
"Then, can I request to continue the exam?"
"What do you want to do? It's best to quit while you're ahead."
"I just haven't had enough fighting and want to vent some anger."
"No."
Asakawa immediately refused.
"Then let's treat it as an exchange match between a Genin and a Chunin."
As soon as Asakawa finished speaking, the Uchiha's voice rang out.
"I couldn't agree more."
With that, Karot's figure vanished from Asakawa's sight, leaving only the sounds of punches and kicks colliding between Karot and the Uchiha.
After a few exchanges, the two stood apart.
"Damn it."
Seeing that he couldn't defeat Karot with his abilities, the opponent was enraged, feeling that the glory of the Uchiha clan had been tarnished by his hands.
"Is this all the strength you have, Uchiha?"
"What did you say?"
"If this is all you've got, then the match is over."
"Are you provoking me, Karot?"
The opponent questioned.
"I'm just stating a fact."
With that, Karot attacked instantly, his speed faster and his power stronger. The opponent could only watch as he was sent flying with a single blow. However, it wasn't over. As his body was sent flying, Karot had already appeared behind him and unleashed a punch. The speed was so extreme that the opponent couldn't react before being hit.
His body was tossed around like a sandbag, pain surging. He couldn't end this terrible nightmare.
"Karot, that's enough."
Just then, a voice rang out, making Karot stop. He recognized the voice very well; it was his father, Hatake Sakumo.
The Uchiha's body fell from mid-air, collapsing limply onto the ground. Although Karot hadn't taken his life, he had broken most of his bones. It would take at least half a year to recover, accompanied by intense pain, because Karot was petty.
"Karot, don't be so heavy-handed with people in the village next time."
Hatake Sakumo walked up to Karot and said. After all, they were ninja from the same village, and acting too harshly would affect his son's image in the village.
"Yes, Father."
Karot nodded in agreement.
His father's expression was serious, seemingly lecturing him, but in reality, he was putting on a show for others. Karot understood this.
"Sakumo-sama."
Seeing Hatake Sakumo arrive, Asakawa quickly came forward and asked respectfully.
"This can't be blamed on Karot. Accidents during duels are unavoidable. You can only blame the opponent for being too weak and failing to receive Karot's attack, which led to this situation."
Karot glanced strangely at Asakawa. This teacher with big eyes had an incredible talent for telling lies. The opponent had just offended him, and now he was retaliating. But Karot liked it.
In the Hokage's office, Hiruzen Sarutobi watched the exam through the crystal ball, his expression turning solemn. He had initially thought Kakashi was already a genius, but he hadn't expected Karot to be even more formidable than Kakashi. He had a feeling that if Karot were given enough time, he might even surpass Hatake Sakumo.
Three geniuses from the Hatake clan! He pondered, puffing on his pipe.
The Uchiha family picked up their unconscious opponent and left after issuing a threat to Karot.
"You remember this, we Uchiha won't let this go. Just you wait."
The Uchiha are truly arrogant, issuing threats to Sakumo Hatake's son right in front of him.
It's no wonder such a powerful clan was annihilated. Karot thought to himself. The Uchiha always acted superior, never truly integrating into the village. When you possess great power, people will indulge you. But when you lose that power, you become prey for others.
"Congratulations to you two, you've graduated."
Asakawa handed the forehead protectors, symbolizing becoming a ninja, to the Hatake brothers.
"I hope you become ninjas like Sakumo-sama and protect the village."
Asakawa's words were filled with deep anticipation for the brothers.
"Aren't you going to thank your teacher for his guidance?"
Hatake Sakumo said, patting the brothers on the back. The Hatake family certainly had good upbringing.
"No, no, their achievements today are all due to their own hard work. I haven't taught them much."
Asakawa was speaking the truth. Facing geniuses like the brothers, Asakawa didn't need to teach them anything; they could grow on their own, leaving him with no sense of accomplishment as a teacher.
"Kakashi, you just wait. I'll defeat you once I become a genin!"
As they were leaving, Obito called out to Kakashi and the others.
"We'll talk when you become a genin, dead last," Kakashi replied coldly.
"Damn it."
"Big brother Karot, I won't disappoint you. I will definitely become a ninja!" Might Guy said from behind Karot.
"You can do it, Guy. You're stronger than you think," Karot replied, his voice inspiring unwavering belief.
Hearing Karot's response, Might Guy felt he had found his direction and his future was bright.
The other classmates were spurred on. In this world where everyone matured early, they trained even harder. Why can the Hatake brothers do it, but I can't? A wave of training frenzy swept through the Ninja Academy.
Returning home, the three male members of the Hatake family sat together.
"Tomorrow, you two will be assigned to a Jonin team and start carrying out missions."
"Are we on the same team, Father?" Kakashi asked.
"No. I initially thought about putting you on the same team, but after careful consideration, I think it's better to separate you."
"I feel the same way," Kakashi nodded. He genuinely didn't want to be on the same team as Karot. Although Karot's strength would make missions much easier, he also felt stifled constantly being under the shadow of someone stronger than himself.
This is too much. My younger brother doesn't want to be on the same team as his older brother. Isn't the Naruto world supposed to have sister complexes? Did I transmigrate into the wrong Naruto?
"Karot, come out with me for a moment. I want to see your true strength," Hatake Sakumo suddenly said. He had been observing Karot's fight with the Uchiha and couldn't gauge Karot's true power. Now, he had no choice but to spar with him to find out.
