History

Early life and Academy

Kakashi grew up as Hatake Sakumo's younger son and Karot's younger brother. He was responsible enough to manage Karot's attendance and meals, but his childhood was defined by rivalry with his brother. Though he could condense chakra, he had never defeated Karot in training and privately envied Karot's talent. 1 6

He entered the Ninja Academy after easily passing its assessment. He initially dismissed Might Guy as an unremarkable taijutsu specialist, refusing to believe Guy could become a rival despite Sakumo and Karot's warnings. 2 5
