A giant, blood-red sphere appeared in the torn space. This was Chaldeas, the Earth environmental model used to observe the planet's future!
On its surface, the azure blue that signified humanity's survival was nowhere to be seen. All that met the eye were raging, crimson flames—a terrifying sight, like a sun in its final stages, on the verge of collapse!
"How is this possible? Chaldeas turning bright red... You're lying, this is definitely fake!"
Although she already had an answer in her heart, the Director refused to believe it. Because... it was Lev, Lev who had always been helping her.
However, the cruel reality mercilessly presented itself before her, shattering her last remaining hope!
"It's real, Olga. I specifically connected the two spaces for you. Well, with the Great Holy Grail, doing something this small isn't that difficult." Lev roared with laughter, then turned his gaze to the stunned Olga Marie.
"Take a good look, descendant of Animusphere. This is the consequence of your foolish actions. The blue that represented humanity's survival is completely gone, leaving only burning crimson. I don't need to explain what this means, do I?"
"So... finally, become one with your beloved treasure. Don't hold back, consider it my benevolence!"
With that said, Lev reached out towards the Director, using some unknown method to control her from a great distance and drag her high into the sky!
"Don't do this, Lev, please! That's Chaldeas! A high-density information entity! A realm of another dimension!" The Director's voice trembled, and she struggled desperately in mid-air.
"Mhm, it's no different from a black hole, or perhaps more like the sun? Either way, it's the same. No matter what, if humanity touches it, they'll be decomposed down to the molecular level, like falling into hell. Don't hold back, just savor the taste of experiencing infinite death while alive!"
"No... Help me... Su Mo, Mash, Kiyohime... I don't want to die here!"
As she got closer and closer to Chaldeas, Olga Marie was like a bottomless abyss of despair, her face filled with increasing terror!
"Projection Magic!"
"Turning Fire Samsara!"
A dragon of deep blue fire, accompanied by countless blades, swords, spears, and halberds, hurtled towards Lev with fierce momentum, forcing Lev to reluctantly release his control over the Director and erect a defensive barrier to block Su Mo and Kiyohime's attacks.
Freed from the magical restraint, the Director fell from mid-air and was caught by Su Mo.
See, it was that simple to save the Director. But in the original story, Ritsuka Fujimaru just watched her get sucked into Chaldeas, his soul instantly shredded to the molecular level and completely destroyed. Su Mo really couldn't understand it.
"Ugh! Director... you really need to lose some weight," Su Mo grunted, nearly stumbling as he caught the Director's approximately 100-pound frame.
"Shut up! I'm not as fat as you say!"
The Director glared fiercely at Su Mo, then hooked her arms tightly around his neck. Tears poured from her eyes like a bursting dam as she sobbed loudly.
"I don't want to die! I don't want to die... I want to go back to Chaldea! Hey... Su Mo, tell me! I can go back safely, right?"
Su Mo gently patted the Director's back but offered no words of comfort. However, he had already made up his mind to save her; he would never let the Director die like this!
Meanwhile, Su Mo knew Lev would be angry about him saving the Director and had already prepared himself for a fight to the death.
According to the settings, Demon God Pillars possess the combat power of multiple Servants. Their appearance and presence certainly live up to their boss status!
Challenging a Demon God Pillar (Lev) with only a Kiyohime who isn't fully broken through and a low-level Mash? Su Mo would be lying if he said he wasn't nervous. He was already prepared to drain all his magic to activate his second Noble Phantasm and bestow all three of his skills onto Kiyohime and Mash for a fierce battle against the Demon God Pillar!
However... what Su Mo couldn't understand was that Lev showed no trace of anger towards him for saving the Director. It was as if everything was proceeding according to his plan, or rather, from Su Mo's perspective, Lev, the great boss, probably saw him as nothing more than an insignificant minor character.
"Why fight so hard, Su Mo? Olga is already dead anyway. What's the point of saving her? She can't return to Chaldea now. Yes, she can only stay here, but even so, she's still meaningless!"
Lev looked at Su Mo and the Director, a thoroughly pleased smile on his face. The smile was utterly malicious.
