Background

Kiyohime was a woman whose love for a monk became tragedy. After the monk fled by telling her an endless lie, she pursued him and burned him to death inside a great bell. This betrayal left her unable to tolerate deception; she can perceive even the smallest lie. 36

Su Mo summoned her without an incantation in Burning Fuyuki. She immediately accepted him as her Master, having heard of his unusual Heroic Spirit abilities in the Hall of Heroes, and requested his support in battle. 9

Appearance

Kiyohime is a kimono-clad Berserker who carries a folding fan and has horns. Her ordinary appearance is gentle and elegant, contrasting sharply with the heat and hostility she displays in combat. 9 25

Her devotion is possessive and volatile. Threats to Su Mo can cause her to lose control, while perceived romantic rivals routinely provoke hostility. Despite this, Su Mo can immediately halt her rampages with a direct command. 12 205

Kiyohime’s hatred of lies stems from her past betrayal. Rather than retaliating against Su Mo for deceiving her, she says that being lied to makes her wish she were dead. 36

Kiyohime is summoned by Su Mo during the Fuyuki Singularity and becomes one of his earliest Servants. She clears Skeleton Soldiers, protects Olga Marie from an ambush, kills Hassan with Turning Fire Samsara, and later defeats Medusa after Su Mo uses a Command Spell to restore her Noble Phantasm. 9 10 12 13

She is frightened by Heracles but obeys Su Mo when he refuses to let her confront him. During the final battle against Black Saber, her Noble Phantasm is decisively neutralized by the enemy’s overwhelming power. 25 27

Orleans Singularity

Kiyohime accompanies Su Mo’s group into France, helps rescue reinforcements in the city, and is pursued by Siegfried because of her dragon attribute. 44 65
