Chapter 22: The Cuckolded Ruffian

A violent tremor shook the Great Hollow, causing the cave to sway. This made Su Mo, whose expression was already grim, frown even deeper.

"Damn saber, I already gave the Holy Grail to her, and she still wants to preserve this era. It's really taken a lot of effort."

"Roman Hospital, stop spacing out and initiate the Rayshift quickly! Send us back!" Su Mo shouted to Roman, who had fallen into silence.

"I'm already doing it, but I'm sorry, the collapse will be faster on your end. And Director..." Roman paused his typing, falling silent once more.

"Wait... what about the Director?" Mash's eyes widened as she looked at the Director.

"I don't want to die in a place like this." Hearing Mash's words, Olga Marie finally couldn't hold back her tears. "No one has ever praised me... no one has ever acknowledged me. I haven't done anything. Since I was born, I've never... never received anyone's recognition... How can I die here!"

Su Mo watched it all, feeling a deep ache in his heart. He was desperately trying to think of a way to bring the Director back to Chaldea without her consciousness dissipating.

"Who said you could leave? None of you will leave alive. Especially you—Su Mo!" Lev had already activated the power of the Holy Grail in his hand, his eyes fixed on Su Mo with extreme sharpness.

"Huh? Why? What did I do to you?" Su Mo's anger flared upon hearing that the man in the green hat intended to kill him.

"As a Master, you possess the power of a Heroic Spirit, and not just any ordinary Heroic Spirit's power. Sending you back to Chaldea would disrupt my plan, so I must eliminate you, this extremely unstable factor!" Lev said, already preparing his magic.
