For some reason, even though Kiyohime was clearly not angry, the look in her eyes sent a chill down Su Mo's spine.
"Yeah, I lied. So what? How are you planning to punish me?"
Su Mo brushed away Kiyohime's hand from his shoulder and raised the back of his hand, showing her the Command Spells. A flicker of anger flashed through his eyes.
Being frightened by the Servant he had contracted as her Master? The more Su Mo thought about it, the more irritated he became.
Besides, he was an Heroic Spirit himself. Even without using auxiliary skills, his Class Skills and second Noble Phantasm alone were stronger than Kiyohime's. There was no reason for him to fear her.
"How would I dare punish Master? I merely... hope that Master will not lie to me," Kiyohime said weakly.
"Seeing through every lie—that's your ability, isn't it?" Su Mo said, recalling FGO's introduction to Kiyohime.
A woman who claimed to have been born for love, Kiyohime had fallen in love with a monk. But the monk feared her, so he told her an open-ended lie and left, leaving Kiyohime waiting painfully at home. Yet no matter how long she waited, the monk never returned for her. In the end, consumed by rage, Kiyohime caught up to him and burned him to death inside a great bell.
Was that why Kiyohime, having been deceived, hated lies?
"Yes. Even the smallest lie cannot be hidden from me."
"Interesting. Then what if I lied to you? What would you do?" Su Hao asked with interest, waiting for her answer. If he had guessed correctly, this should provoke an attack from Kiyohime, shouldn't it?
"Then I would... wish I were dead."
With a bittersweet smile, Kiyohime answered honestly.
"Is that so?" Looking at the yandere Dragon Daughter before him, heartbroken as though she had been abandoned by her lover, Su Mo felt an inexplicable pang in his chest. Without thinking, he instinctively pulled her into his arms and whispered in her ear.
"If you hate lies, then I won't lie to you anymore... But let me make this clear first: I only won't lie to you. I can't promise the same for anyone else."
"You won't lie to me... Ah, nothing could be more perfect than that!" A trace of excitement flashed in Kiyohime's eyes. She slowly raised her head, her gaze upon Su Mo filled with intoxication.
"I've decided. From now on, I will always remain by Master's... no, my husband's side!"
"Huh?" Su Mo blinked, his mouth slowly falling open. What did she just say... husband?

Chapter 25: Seven Singularities
"Instant noodles? Mash, is there nothing else to eat? Couldn't we have a chef make something?"
Looking at the prepared instant noodles on the dining table, Su Mo's mouth twitched violently. Eating instant noodles first thing in the morning was bad for one's health, wasn't it?
This needed to be explained: as an Heroic Spirit, wasn't he supposed to neither eat nor feel hungry? The problem was that his physical body needed food. Without food, where would he get the mana to maintain his Servant contract?
"Senpai, because of yesterday's accident, the chefs who prepared our food have already..."
"Mm... You don't need to say it. I already know what happened."
Because of that useless Lev, Chaldea's dining area had been blown into ruins. Not only had all the facilities been destroyed, but even the stored food and the staff responsible for the dining area had been blasted into the air along with them.
Only a little over twenty members remained to keep Chaldea running. They were eating instant noodles as well. If they had not known that the entire world had been destroyed and only Chaldea remained, they would have fled long ago.
"Useless Lev, get over here! I've got some fucking words for you!" Su Mo ate his instant noodles with tears streaming down his face, cursing Lev's ancestors for three generations in his heart.
"Master, do you want to eat meat?" Kiyohime asked Su Mo, blinking and tilting her head.
