"Look at your unsightly appearance. Even now, you still haven't asked for help from the deity you believe in—or perhaps you have, but your prayers weren't devout enough, or maybe your sins are too grave. Or perhaps, those hypocritical gods never loved you at all, leading you to beg for mercy from me, someone who has been cast down as a witch... Hehehehe."
Black Saber's face was gloomy, yet she wore a strange and joyful smile. In contrast, Pierre's face turned deathly pale, and his body began to tremble uncontrollably.
"Then, let us begin the inquisition, burning away all sins."
"Roar—My Wrath!"
Watching the raging flames that surged towards him, despair began to sprout wildly in Pierre. He opened his mouth but couldn't utter a single coherent sound, only able to watch as the inferno engulfed his body.

Chapter Twenty-Eight: Suffering from Speaking English
The Spiritron Transfer ended, and a nauseating wave of dizziness washed over Su Mo. He collapsed onto the ground, rolling around and vomiting everything in his stomach.
"Master, are you alright?"
Seeing Su Mo writhing on the grass, Kiyohime rushed forward with a look of panic and helped him up.
Leaning on Kiyohime's shoulders, Su Mo's complexion wasn't good. Out of everyone present, he was the only one who threw up. It seemed Servants weren't affected by Spiritron Transfer, but he, with his physical body, found it hard to endure.
"Senpai, are you okay?"
"I'm fine. Much better than last time. My memories aren't jumbled this time," Su Mo waved his hand, responding to Mash.
Releasing Kiyohime, Su Mo looked around the land they were in.
An endless expanse of lush green grassland, verdant trees. If he could ignore Lancelot, who was grumbling aimlessly nearby, this would have been a rare and beautiful sight.
"Phew, it looks like we've successfully transferred, Senpai. Huh... Fou, why did you come too?"
The white squirrel-like creature chirped twice and hopped onto Mash's shoulder. It was clear that it was quite attached to Mash.
"Look at the sky!"
Su Mo suddenly pointed at the sky. Following his gaze, everyone saw a colossal halo covering the entire sky.
"Doctor Roman, what is that?"
"This is... a Sorcery deployed in orbit! In any case, there's no record of such a phenomenon occurring during the Anglo-French War of 1431. This is undoubtedly one of the reasons for the future's disappearance."
As Roman was explaining, Mash pointed in a certain direction and said strangely, "Senpai, there seem to be people over there... They look like French reconnaissance troops. Should we make contact?"
"Yeah, we won't find anything by just staying here. Let's go take a look."
"Su Mo, what exactly did you say to them? Why were we surrounded so quickly?"
Hearing Roman's complaint, Su Mo looked up at the sky at a 45-degree angle and waved his hand helplessly. "This isn't Fuyuki in Japan, and I don't understand French. I could only greet them in English, asking if they could provide me with food and water. But who knew these heartless barbarians would surround us directly—Heavens, aren't the French supposed to be the most civilized nation?"
Roman was so angry he almost fainted. He slammed his hand on the keyboard and roared at Su Mo with a tone of disbelief, "English is indeed a universal language, but that's for later eras! In this Hundred Years' War in France, if you speak English to the French, they'll immediately take you for a British spy!"
"Master, if you're still hungry, once I've dealt with these soldiers, I'll cut off my tail and give it to you as emergency rations!"
"Can you stop mentioning my tail? This isn't Chaldea, why can't you use your brain and hunt some wild boars or deer for a change of pace?" Su Mo smacked his forehead and retorted.
