"No need to trouble you, I've already summoned one." Annoyed by the Director's words, Su Mo put away his Saint Graph and used the Summoning Ticket the system gave him for the day.
The next moment, the summoning circle before everyone erupted in a brilliant light, illuminating the surroundings in pure white.
"Wh-what... You didn't even chant, how did you do that?" The Director was utterly astonished. As a legitimate magus, she was stunned by this phenomenon that defied magic.
"Come, come, answer my call! Black Jeanne d'Arc, Berserker Dog, Great Duke, Saber Lily, Raikou, all of you, come!"
Su Mo paid no mind to the stunned Director. With an excited and expectant look, as if he'd lost his mind, he stared intently at the summoning circle and uttered a string of words that left the Director and Mash utterly bewildered.
The summoning circle operated incredibly fast, but by the end, not even a hint of golden light had appeared. At this point, Su Mo's jaw nearly hit the floor.
"Damn it, I failed. Turns out 'miracles happen with single pulls' is all lies!"
"Senpai, are you alright?" Seeing Su Mo's distress, the kind-hearted Mash asked with concern.
"N-no, I'm fine, Mash. Don't worry, it's just a failed summon. I've failed dozens of times before," Su Mo replied, waving his hand, his face a little pale.
Mash, though utterly confused, interpreted Su Mo's abnormality as memory confusion caused by the Spiritron Dress transfer. After all, wasn't that what he had told her himself?
The light from the summoning circle faded, and a young girl with golden eyes, wearing a kimono primarily composed of dark blue and white, appeared!
The girl possessed a beautiful figure, and beneath her elegant, light green long hair was an exceptionally gentle and peerless face.
What made Su Mo swallow his saliva repeatedly, however, were the girl's slender legs, tightly wrapped in white stockings!
Ah... what a seductive woman this is! Su Mo exclaimed inwardly.
Like a fairy, the girl, holding a fan in her hand, gracefully walked up to Su Mo and smiled sweetly.
"Servant Kiyohime. Don't let my appearance fool you; my class is Berserker. By the way, are you my Master?"
The pleasant voice immediately snapped Su Mo out of his daze. He straightened his back and said with a serious expression, "Yes, I am your Master. My name is Su Mo. Also, as your Master, I am myself a Heroic Spirit."
Kiyohime, huh? Looks like my luck isn't too bad. Even though she's a three-star Servant, I can still admire her, right? Besides, if I just give her a little 'support,' maybe she'll become a gold-card Servant.
"Kiyohime? Berserker?"
The Director and Mash were dumbfounded, somewhat bewildered. However, there was no doubt that the kimono-clad girl before them possessed the aura of a Heroic Spirit.
"I didn't expect you to actually summon a Heroic Spirit without incantations, and a Berserker at that. But are you sure she won't suddenly go berserk and attack us?" the Director asked Su Mo, clearing her throat.
"Ara, please rest assured. As long as Master does not engage in any deceitful acts, I will not go berserk and attack you," Kiyohime said with a smile, covering her face with her fan before Su Mo could answer. Then, Kiyohime turned her gaze to Su Mo.
Her slightly flushed face, her somewhat rapid breathing, and that hazy, desirous gaze... Kiyohime spoke, "Lord Su Mo, I've heard rumors about you in the Hall of Heroes. They say the abilities you possess as a Heroic Spirit are very unique. Could you possibly 'support' me in the upcoming battle?"
Chapter 8: A Little Support and You're Invincible
Clearing his throat to mask his awkwardness, Su Mo slowly said, "Kiyohime, as your Master, if you need me, I will naturally respond."
"That's wonderful, Lord Su Mo!"
Kiyohime closed her eyes and smiled sweetly. The smile blooming from her beautiful face completely mesmerized Su Mo.
"We've wasted a lot of time, let's get going," Su Mo said, clearing his throat again, and walked forward first.
"But Senpai, where are we going?" Mash asked, a little confused.
"Where?" Su Mo hadn't really thought about this question. But according to the plot, shouldn't they be going to defeat the BOSS, Black Saber, and then have a chat with Lev before clearing this prologue chapter?
