Background / History

Nero first appears to Su Mo as a red-dressed Servant, recognizing him as her Player. At the time, she cannot recall her own name and asks to be called “Sab-ar”; Su Mo identifies her as a troublesome but powerful contracted Servant. 171 173

During the Roman Singularity, Su Mo’s group encounters Nero in her mortal lifetime. Surrounded by a much larger enemy army, she refuses to yield, rallies her soldiers in person, and leads their charge before Chaldea’s intervention saves the battle. 243 244

After introducing herself as Nero Claudius, the fifth Emperor of Rome, she asks Chaldea to assist her legitimate Roman Empire against the United Empire, which has seized half of her territory and employs several Emperor Servants. 249 251
