Background / History

Su Zhiqing was a rare genius disciple of the Qingyuan Sect in the Cang Ling Realm. She treated her fellow disciples sincerely, but her circumstances changed after Yan Baishuang joined the sect. During the Sect Grand Competition, Su Zhiqing was framed for injuring Yan Baishuang. Her master, True Person Chiyang, punished her without investigating: her Spiritual Root was destroyed, her Dantian crippled, and her meridians severed. Her senior brothers then forced her to take a Fire Poison Pill and abandoned her on Lingyun Mountain. 54

Zi Yu encountered her while she was gravely injured and alone in a ruined thatched hut. Acting through the Imperial Path Hegemony Instance, he transformed her shelter into a protected courtyard, supplied food and clothing, and began protecting her from the Qingyuan Sect. 53 54

After Qingyuan Sect disciples attempted to capture her as a cultivation cauldron, Zi Yu annihilated them with an Immortal-grade Heavenly Thunder Talisman. Su Zhiqing vowed to repay his kindness. 55 He subsequently arranged to restore her Dantian and Spiritual Root with the Nine Revolutions Heavenly Divine Pill and Nine Revolutions Exquisite Heart. 61 62
