Inside Xu Manor.
By now, more than half had been killed or wounded. Mu Zibai stared at the situation in the manor, at a loss for what to do.
"Are you Mu Zibai?" Hearing the question, Mu Zibai looked up and saw a young man in white standing atop a distant wall, a folding fan in his hand.
Several guards stood beside him—the very guards who had previously been sent to protect Wenren Qingyi. Wenren Qingyi was also in their custody.
"Brother-in-law? Brother-in-law, run! It's a trap! You're no match for this guy!"
The moment Wenren Qingyi saw Mu Zibai, she hurriedly shouted.
The young man in white smiled. Turning back, he looked at Wenren Qingyi beside him and said gently, "Little girl, don't shout nonsense. You're putting your brother in a difficult position. Who knows, I might have no choice but to pull out your tongue."
Wenren Qingyi's little face turned pale, and she did not dare speak again.
Mu Zibai said helplessly, "I'd like to leave too, but I can't get away. I'm already inside the trap."
"Looks like you know your place."
Mu Zibai frowned. This should be the mastermind behind everything.
"Who are you?" Mu Zibai asked.
"I am Zhuge Yu." Zhuge Yu bent slightly at the waist, his folding fan resting against his chest. At first glance, he looked like a refined young gentleman.
Mu Zibai stared at Zhuge Yu, feeling that something about his aura was off. "You're a clone? Not the real body, are you?"
Zhuge Yu smiled. "As the mastermind behind the scenes, how could I possibly put myself in danger? What if I happened to encounter an expert? Wouldn't that be like a sheep walking into a tiger's mouth?"
Zhuge Yu spoke casually, as though chatting and laughing about the world.
