Background / History

Tianshan Pavilion was established by Tianshanzi, the founding ancestor of the Tianshan Sect, specifically to cultivate Martial Dao geniuses. It was founded after Tianshanzi discovered three Martial Emperor legacy treasures more than a thousand years earlier and installed them as the pavilion’s training foundation. 48 69

The pavilion’s resources have enabled the Tianshan Sect to produce numerous Xiantian experts over the centuries. The sect credits the Three Treasures as a major factor in its expansion from control of five prefectures to eight. 69

Located on Tianshan Mountain’s perpetually snow-covered summit, the pavilion is a vast complex of continuous buildings resembling an “ice and snow kingdom.” Its internal affairs and information are highly confidential; even ordinary Tianshan Sect elders generally lack access to them. 68

Admission & Training

• Entry is highly competitive. Its disciples are regarded as peerless prodigies, and favored geniuses from other Qingzhou prefectures—or even other provinces—may have their factions purchase limited training places from the Tianshan Sect. 48 59

Tianshan Three Treasures

Red Dragon Mother Pool

A massive golden pool roughly one hundred zhang in circumference, decorated with thirty-six carved golden dragons. It is the source pool for the Red Dragon Pools distributed to prefectural martial academies. 69
