Background

Ning Sujin was raised first by the Su Family, a clan of Qi and Blood Grandmasters, before returning to her father Ning Haichan's Marquis Dingyuan residence. Her ability to sense fortune and misfortune made those around her distrustful; her warning concerning cousin Su Fan led to her being treated as unbearable and sent back to the Marquis's residence. This isolation shaped her restrained, aloof nature. 14

At the Immortal Seeking Academy, she and her younger sister Ning Yutan competed fiercely, initially treating Li Ji'an as another point in their rivalry. Ning Sujin's opinion changed after recognizing his exceptional comprehension and calm temperament. 11 12

She became a reserve Immortal Seed alongside Li Ji'an, while Ning Yutan was selected as Chong'an Prefecture's Immortal Seed.
