Lin Zhu gathered ancient demon recruits, confronted Western Heaven over its schemes against Great Tang, and strengthened Nezha and Li Shimin. The arc left the Three Great Bodhisattvas preparing to seize the king’s soul before dawn while Cui Gui fled to the Heavenly Court with Underworld records.

• The Jade Emperor rewarded Fairy Nishang, and Lin Zhu accepted a quest to obtain the Nine Phoenix Egg while Buddha Tathagata sent Ma Yuan and Prince Qita after it.
• Lin Zhu recruited Bi Fang and subdued the Archaic Sky Eagle and other demons, then brought his followers to the Heavenly Court and secured divine posts for them.
• In Chang'an, Lin Zhu exposed Yuan Shoucheng’s plot, but Yu Yi Xian rescued him before Lin Zhu pursued them to Spirit Mountain and killed Yuan Shoucheng.
• Ancient Buddha Ran Deng paid Lin Zhu compensation for Yu Yi Xian’s wrongdoing, while Samantabhadra pressured the Wei River Dragon King to frighten Li Shimin.
• Lin Zhu empowered Nezha to Mid-stage Grand Luo Golden Immortal, and Nezha killed Yu Yi Xian when he tried to flee their duel.
• Queen Mother asked Lin Zhu to retrieve the Immortal Slaughtering Sword, but he went to Chang'an, where he stopped Guanyin and took her Pure Glazed Vase and Willow Branch.
• Li Shimin destroyed the Wei River Dragon King’s ghost, and Lin Zhu spared Cui Gui and gave the Ten Halls of Yama a plan to reorganize the Underworld.

Lin Zhu disrupted Western Heaven’s plans in the Underworld, then exploited Gu Yang’s hunt for demonic treasures to gather pills and the Immortal Slaughtering Sword. After Tantuo Ksitigarbha escaped with help from Saint Zhunti, Lin Zhu armed the Three Realms Law Enforcers and set out for the Netherworld, while Buddha Tathagata began arranging the Scripture Seeker’s journey.

• Lin Zhu foiled Buddha Tathagata’s plan for King of Tang in the Underworld, exposed the Bodhisattvas, and forced them to perform for him before bargaining with Buddha Tathagata for Merit and agreeing to support the Water and Land Dharma Assembly.
• Lin Zhu gave King of Tang a cultivation routine and backed his plan to weaken Western Heaven, then traveled with Gu Yang to Northern Kuru and secretly refined the Demonic Beasts Gu Yang captured.
• Lin Zhu manipulated Gu Yang into enduring brutal fights at Thunder Valley and Fire Scale Mountain, collected pills and the Immortal Slaughtering Sword, and returned to the Heavenly Court with Nine Phoenix.
• Lin Zhu learned that Tantuo Ksitigarbha had escaped the Ninth Heaven Prison with the Dance of the Heavenly Maiden, and discovered that Saint Zhunti’s decree had enabled the prison break.
• Lin Zhu rallied the Three Realms Law Enforcers, supplied them with precious pills, and used Nine Phoenix and the Dou Ri Luo Net to turn their tribulation thunder into a Heavenly Thunder Profound Fire Ball.
• Lin Zhu ordered the Enforcers to march toward the Netherworld and raced ahead, while Buddha Tathagata sent Guanyin Bodhisattva to Chang’an to arrange the Water and Land Dharma Assembly.
• Lin Zhu met novice monk Chen Xuanzang in Southern Jambudvipa, gave him a Mortal Frenzy Pill, and told him to follow his heart.

Lin Zhu allied with Patriarch Styx to attack Ksitigarbha’s forces, executed three of its emissaries, and was saved from Venerable Ksitigarbha by Empress Houtu. He returned to Great Tang for the Water and Land Dharma Assembly, where Chen Xuanzang’s demonic nature erupted and he savagely attacked Guanyin.

• Lin Zhu persuaded Patriarch Styx to join forces against Ksitigarbha, then led the allied army toward the Five Turbid Worlds.
• Lin Zhu captured Tantuo Ksitigarbha and several Ksitigarbha Clones, executed them with the God-Slaying Spear, and later killed Treasure Maiden and Angel Emissary.
• Lin Zhu advanced to Half-step Quasi-Saint and tried to withdraw, but Venerable Ksitigarbha attacked him until Empress Houtu intervened and forced Ksitigarbha’s forces to retreat.
• Lin Zhu returned to Southern Jambudvipa with Nine Phoenix, received his mission reward, and accepted a new assignment to attend the Water and Land Dharma Assembly.
• At Chang'an, Lin Zhu advised King of Tang to proceed with the assembly and use Chen Xuanzang, while Guanyin tried to introduce the Brocade Bat Kasaya and Nine Ringed Staff.
• Chen Xuanzang’s demonic nature erupted when he wore the kasaya, and Lin Zhu exposed Guanyin’s disguise as she tried to remove it.
• Guanyin revealed herself and asked Chen Xuanzang to seek the True Scripture, but Chen Xuanzang’s Demonic Qi surged and blasted her away.
• Western Heaven’s fighters attacked Chen Xuanzang with a Demon Subduing Great Array, but he destroyed them and repeatedly struck Guanyin as she begged him to stop.

Lin Zhu protected Chen Xuanzang from Western Heaven, secured the Immortal Trapping Sword and Immortal Ending Sword, and helped him set out for the True Scriptures. Tang Sanzang’s journey began with a brutal demon ambush while Lin Zhu remained on Mount Kunlun under the attention of Wudang Shengmu and the Three Xiaos.

• Chen Xuanzang attacked Guanyin Bodhisattva under the Mortal Frenzy Pill’s influence, and Lin Zhu later shielded him from Buddha Tathagata’s demand to surrender him to Western Heaven.
• Lin Zhu exposed Chen Xuanzang’s identity as Elder Jin Chan and asked King of Tang Li Shimin to treat him as an Imperial Brother, while Chen Xuanzang was secretly taken to Spirit Mountain.
• Lin Zhu traded Taiji Pills to save Chen Xuanzang and obtained the Immortal Trapping Sword and Immortal Ending Sword from Buddha Tathagata, then identified Grand Supreme Elder as the likely culprit behind the destruction of Tushita Palace.
• Grand Supreme Elder’s examination of Buddha Tathagata ended with Tathagata surrendering ten million Merit, and Grand Supreme Elder hired Lin Zhu to recover a stolen item from Tushita Palace.
• King of Tang Li Shimin made Chen Xuanzang his sworn brother and sent him west as Tang Sanzang, who invited Monk Lu to join the pilgrimage before setting out from Chang’an.
• Lin Zhu visited Mount Kunlun, where Wudang Shengmu and the Three Xiaos welcomed him, teased him, and helped guide his cultivation with Yellow Center Plums.
• General Yin’s demons ambushed Tang Sanzang and Monk Lu, captured them, and killed their attendants as the Five Directions Attendants watched over the trial.
