As he spoke, John lifted the chest containing five thousand gold coins from the carriage and headed toward the Mist City Adventurers' Association. Parr followed behind him. Since they were currently being watched by the Assassin's Association, they could not afford to split up.
The so-called exchange was simply exchanging the coins for a voucher, a special voucher issued by the Adventurers' Association. With it, one could withdraw gold coins from Adventurers' Associations anywhere. It was basically like a bank card from Parr's previous life. The Adventurers' Association really did have an absurdly broad range of services.
The tall and small pair entered the Mist City Adventurers' Association. After speaking to a staff member, they were respectfully invited to a secluded room on the second floor. Following an inspection, the five thousand gold coins were exchanged for a silver voucher.
After carefully putting away the voucher, John took Parr downstairs. The two then began looking through commissions within the Mist Viscount Territory.
"Not only are we heading to Clear River Town, but the merchants here are going there too. However, it's a long journey from here to Clear River Town, and much of the road passes through the Deep Forest. The merchants need escorts, so we can find a caravan escort mission and earn some pocket money."
