Background
After developing the serum, Brahman established factories across the Land of Fire. Its first prominent recipients were nobles encouraged by the Land of Fire's Daimyo; distribution then expanded to commoners, Konoha ninja, and other countries. Hospitals abroad stocked it and sometimes administered it free to dying patients 10 14.
Brahman also developed species-specific serums. Civilians and ninja injected animals on land and at sea, using miniature production lines aboard fishing boats to make formulas for newly encountered fish species 10 53. By Chapter 66, nearly every being in the Empire had received the serum, apart from those still hiding from it 66.
Mechanism and Effects
- Genetic modification: The serum replaces a shared genetic segment within a recipient's species with one selected from Brahman's biological research. The chosen material can improve the recipient while making them his subordinate; the change is described as irreversible 12 57.
- Chakra and strength: Recipients can gain chakra or increased chakra reserves. Some acquire ninja aptitude, become substantially stronger, or have a chance of awakening a Kekkei Genkai 12 14.
- Healing: Reported effects include repaired injuries, regenerated limbs, relief from genetic disease, and extended lifespan 12 239.
- Control: Recipients retain their memories and capacity for independent thought, and may show no obvious sign of control until Brahman issues an order 14 28 29.
- Inheritance: Its chakra-granting effects are described as hereditary; the genetic change also makes descendants subject to Brahman's blessing 36 240.
- Early-production risk: Hastily manufactured serum could cause rejection reactions and death 10 12.
- Biological limits: Formulas for different species cannot be freely interchanged. The serum does not work on disembodied souls or energy bodies 42 63.

- Katsuyu Sage — Was injected with a formula made specifically for slugs 42.
- Yuyuko Yakumo — After receiving the High-Speed Blessing Version, no longer needed human fear or faith to survive 213.
- Marvel Universe customers — Bruce Banner's Sacred Gospel Company sold the potion widely; users gained chakra, while Harry Osborn's hereditary illness was cured 237 238 239.
