Itachi charged at Scorpion like a madman, while Scorpion leaped about, sending Chakra Threads toward the many Konoha shinobi and wrapping them up. The moment he got hold of someone, they lost control of their bodies and became puppets, forced to fight Itachi.
Faced with his comrades from the village, Itachi kept a stern expression and said nothing. He simply used Susanoo to bat them away one by one, like a man playing whack-a-mole.
Every shinobi controlled by Scorpion was smashed to pieces by a single punch from him.
"No, Itachi! If you're one of our comrades, hurry and save them!"
"How can you attack your comrades from the village?"
In response to everyone's pleas, Itachi said nothing. He simply attacked with all his strength, letting his comrades' blood and flesh drip slowly from Susanoo's fists.
"Itachi, you don't have the Will of Fire at all!"
"So you really are a rogue ninja too!"
After their pleas for help fell on deaf ears, Izumo Kamizuki and the others decisively treated Itachi as an enemy as well. They split into two groups: one to attack Scorpion and the other to stop Itachi from killing anyone.
But neither Itachi nor Scorpion paid the ordinary shinobi any attention. They focused entirely on each other.
One used the controlled shinobi as cover while trying to reconnect with the Kazekage Human Puppet; the other struck without mercy, doing everything he could to stop Scorpion's plan.
One controlled, the other killed. In the space of a few moments, they wiped out all the Konoha shinobi.
In the end, the only ones still facing each other were the two of them.
"Let's see where you'll run this time!"
Itachi's eyes blazed as his Mangekyō Sharingan spun wildly and he attacked Scorpion once more.
