Power Progression

Background / History

The Stone Clan is an ancient Dou God Clan whose members reside in the Stone Realm rather than openly participating in the outside world. Before Shi Kang’s rise, the clan faced a severe decline in bloodline quality: most new members possessed Fourth- or Fifth-Grade Dou God Bloodlines, threatening the eventual exhaustion of the clan’s inheritance. 1

The clan’s future changes when Shi Kang, the Clan Leader’s eighteen-year-old son, tests as an Eighth Grade Dou God Bloodline holder and is named Young Clan Leader. His potential Ninth Grade Bloodline is regarded as the hope of the Stone Clan’s revival. 1

Shi Kang subsequently works to prevent the clan’s foretold destruction by the Soul Clan. He exposes the Soul Clan’s infiltration of the Ancestral Hall, including Second Elder Shi Chu, and advocates revealing the wider espionage network to the other Dou God Clans. 102 144 The resulting exposure leads the Stone Clan, Ancient Clan, Yan Clan, Lei Clan, and Yao Clan to form an alliance against the Soul Clan, though the alliance later fractures over competing interests. 149 222

The Stone Clan’s standing rises sharply through its marriage alliance with the Ancient Void Dragon Clan. Zi Yan publicly announces her marriage to Shi Kang, binding the two powers together; the alliance is later strengthened when Dragon Island is relocated to the Stone Realm. 125 159 The relocation brings Ancient Void Dragon experts directly into the Stone Realm’s defense and makes an attack on the Stone Clan far more costly. 140 224

Bloodline System and Training

Every Stone Clan member undergoes a first bloodline test at age eighteen. The Star Disk displays a number of stars corresponding to the grade of the member’s Dou God Bloodline; higher grades receive greater cultivation resources and attention from the clan. 1

Stone Clan cultivation emphasizes physical refinement alongside Dou Qi cultivation. Members temper themselves through close combat, lightning, flames, and other external stimuli, then use medicinal baths and pills to heal injuries and reinforce their bodies. This training produces physiques stated to be nearly comparable to Ancient Void Dragons among cultivators of the same level. 1
