Background / History

Su Yu transmigrated to the Douluo Continent and awakened in the body of a hungry orphan. His God-tier Sign-in System immediately rewarded him with the Immortal Slaying Array Diagram Martial Soul and four Hundred Thousand Year Soul Rings, allowing him to rapidly become a Soul Grand Master. He travelled to Longding City to receive Soul Master certification from the Martial Soul Hall. 1 2

In the Star Dou Great Forest, Su Yu saved Qian Renxue from a Man Faced Demon Spider. After their night in a cave, Qian Renxue chose not to kill him despite her initial intent, leaving him a protective token and a request that he not seek her. Su Yu subsequently absorbed the spider's External Soul Bone. 2 5

Sword Douluo Chen Xin sensed Su Yu's sword intent in the forest and accepted him as a disciple. Su Yu was brought to the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect, where Ning Fengzhi and Gu Rong welcomed him, and where he became close to Ning Rongrong. 6 7

His Sign-in System later granted him the Chaos Heavenly Dragon Martial Soul through a successful check-in involving Ning Rongrong. During a confrontation with Zi Ji, he used its bloodline pressure to force her submission; she thereafter followed him publicly as a guard. 12 17
