Background / History

Zhu Qing was born as the second daughter of Zhu Haotian and Liu Yuerong of the Zhu Family. Through the Zhu and Dai families' longstanding marriage alliance, she became engaged to Dai Mubai and was bound to the Star Luo imperial succession struggle, where failure carried the threat of losing one’s Martial Soul and lifelong imprisonment. The arrangement also turned her relationship with her elder sister, Zhu Zhuyun, into a political rivalry. 42 175

She left the Star Luo Empire and later entered Shrek Academy, where her cold disposition and unusually mature bearing immediately drew attention. During the academy’s final entrance assessment, she fought alongside Tang San, Xiao Wu, Ning Rongrong, and Su Yu against Zhao Wuji. 29 32

Her engagement increasingly became a source of fear and resentment as Dai Mubai proved unprepared for their future succession conflict.
