Background / History

Lin Mu decided to establish a faction after resolving to seek the second Creation Flame and strengthen his efforts against Demonic creatures. Xiao Yi Xian proposed the name “Heavenly Court,” while Yun Shan suggested the Misty Cloud Sect as a suitable initial location. Lin Mu had Fa Ma summon the influential figures of the Jia Ma Empire for the announcement. 105

At its founding, Lin Mu stated that the Heavenly Court would remain independent and avoid ordinary worldly conflicts. It would, however, protect its members and retaliate against forces that harmed the faction. Gu He joined first, followed by Fa Ma and the Alchemist Guild; Jia Xing Tian initially refused. 106

Within a year, the Heavenly Court became the strongest force in the Jia Ma Empire despite remaining largely secluded. Jia Xing Tian and the royal family later joined, followed by Yun Yun and the Misty Cloud Sect, giving the organization dominance over the empire. 109 116

The organization’s focus shifted decisively toward resisting Demonic creatures after the Sky Demon Clan infiltrated its grounds and launched attacks. The Snake People Race joined before the battle with the Ninth Demon Commander, and the Heavenly Court’s members chose to stand together against the invasion. 120 121

Lin Mu later secured a self-contained small world as the “true Heavenly Court.” The realm possesses dense spiritual energy, mountains, lakes, vegetation, wildlife, a vast plaza, and a spatial teleportation array. 174

Purpose and Policies

• The Heavenly Court does not intervene in routine disputes between families, factions, or the Jia Ma Empire unless its own members are threatened. 106

Founding in the Jia Ma Empire

Lin Mu announced the Heavenly Court to the Jia Ma Empire’s major figures, defining its non-interference policy and member-protection mandate. The Alchemist Guild and Gu He joined immediately, while Jia Xing Tian’s resistance marked the principal early opposition. 106

Rise to Regional Dominance

The organization grew into the Jia Ma Empire’s strongest force. The royal family and Misty Cloud Sect eventually joined, while alchemists became a key source of pills for improving the group’s overall strength. 109 116

War against the Sky Demon Clan

The Heavenly Court was attacked by the Sky Demon Clan shortly after its establishment. Its members, joined by the Snake People Race, prepared for war; Lin Mu ultimately defeated the Ninth Demon Commander despite severe injuries. The battle reinforced the members’ unity and loyalty. 121 125

Expansion to the Middle Continent

Lin Mu sought a suitable Middle Continent dojo and brought the Heavenly Court’s disciples there through spatial energy. The faction gained support from Tang Zhen, Xuan Kongzi, and other powerful figures, while its true headquarters became a small world linked by spatial access. 147 174 177

Anti-Demon Coalition

Lin Mu explained the ancient war and the threat posed by Demonic creatures to major Middle Continent factions. Following later battles against the Seventh and Eighth Demon Commanders, the Pill Tower moved toward alliance, with its Great Elder formally joining the Heavenly Court’s cause. 178 195 202
