Tang San retains the inheritance of the Tang Sect from a previous life, including its secret arts, hidden weapons, and poison techniques. His central ambition is to revive the Tang Sect in Douluo Continent rather than remain an insignificant outer-sect figure as he had been before. 306 309

In this life, he was raised in Holy Spirit Village by Tang Hao, who concealed both his identity as Clear Sky Douluo and Tang San’s Clear Sky Sect heritage. From the age of four, Tang San cooked for himself and often cared for his frequently intoxicated father. 309 310
