Background / History

Na'er was found starving, alone, and unable to remember anything beyond the name “Na'er” in the mountains. Although she appeared to be an ordinary lost child, Xuan Hao recognized that her silver hair, purple eyes, and amnesia resembled the Silver Dragon King Gu Yuena. He gave her food, clothing, and protection, and she began calling him “Gege.” 30

Before her apparent awakening, Na'er had no detectable Soul Power, Martial Soul, or Silver Dragon Spear. Xuan Hao therefore questioned whether she was a fragment of Gu Yuena, an incarnation, or something else entirely. 64

The arrival of the Ice Dragon King and Fire Dragon King’s remnant souls at the Ice and Fire Yin Yang Well triggered Na’er’s sealed memories. She revealed herself as Gu Yuena, used Space Power to isolate the valley, and explained that she had sealed her memories and assumed Na’er’s identity to observe Xuan Hao closely. Her original objective was to determine whether his Dragon God bloodline and potential could be used to restore the Soul Beast Clan and release the Golden Dragon King. 66

Rather than reveal herself to Xuan Hao immediately, Gu Yuena ordered the two Dragon Kings to guide him while concealing her existence. She then resumed the role of Na’er, presenting herself as the little sister who depended on his protection. 66

Na’er later awakened her Silver Dragon Martial Soul openly and continued cultivating beside Xuan Hao. Her growth was exceptional: by age twelve, she had reached Level 42, and she increasingly acted as a source of elemental expertise, strategic advice, and mediation within Xuan Hao’s circle. 72 121 301 326

During their journey to the Far North, Na’er finally confessed that she was the Silver Dragon King. Xuan Hao revealed that he had suspected her identity for a long time and accepted both her motives and her place by his side. She subsequently revealed her sovereign form to the Snow Empress and Ice Empress, demanding their cooperation in Xuan Hao’s path toward godhood. 421 422 423

Na’er is characterized by silver hair and clear purple eyes. She initially appears as a small, dirty, starving girl; after Xuan Hao gives her clean clothes, her naturally cool and noble bearing becomes apparent. 30

At first, Na’er is shy, wary, hungry, and deeply dependent on Xuan Hao after her apparent amnesia. She fears being abandoned when he disappears for extended periods and clings to him as her only source of security. 30 101 102

Her dependence also develops into jealousy and a desire for exclusivity in her relationship with Xuan Hao. When confronted about it, she is embarrassed but listens to his warning about restraint and excess. 118

Behind the innocent persona is Gu Yuena’s calculating and observant nature. She deliberately chose to remain at Xuan Hao’s side to judge his character and, if necessary, influence his development in favor of the Soul Beast Clan. 66
