Background / History

Vivian was created by the demon lord Cang Ye as a living vessel intended to imprison captured goddesses. Cang Ye planned to strip a goddess's divine fire, implant the divinity into Vivian, and use Vivian's destruction to awaken the imprisoned goddess's will. To preserve the vessel, Cang Ye kept Vivian untouched and close at hand. 377

Unlike most succubi, Vivian's human-like beauty is her original appearance rather than a shapeshifted disguise. Her nature made her an outcast in the Abyss, where demons could readily perceive that she did not possess a conventional demon's appearance. 377
