The Peach Tree had developed a problem?

Ye Jun turned his gaze toward West Kunlun. If something had gone wrong with the Peach Tree, then it was no wonder.

The peaches were one of the Ten Great Spiritual Roots, and they were immensely beneficial to Queen Mother of the West's own cultivation.

Now that the Peach Tree had developed a problem, it was no wonder Queen Mother of the West was in such low spirits.

If it had happened to him, he would probably have gone mad on the spot!

"Are you two here seeking a way to cure the Peach Tree?" Ye Jun asked.

The two young maidens repeatedly nodded in agreement.

Ye Jun's brows immediately rose. Hadn't his opportunity arrived?

Even if he could not obtain the Peach Tree, Queen Mother of the West was still a renowned beauty of the primordial world!

Ye Jun cleared his throat. "In that case, I shall accompany you two on a trip to West Kunlun."

"Senior, are you truly willing to help our mistress?" one of the young maidens asked excitedly.

Ye Jun slowly nodded and said, "I am fated with Queen Mother of the West, so naturally I am willing!"

Having received Ye Jun's confirmation, the two young maidens were overjoyed. The Peach Tree's problem had not begun just a day or two ago.

If the two of them could find a senior Great Being capable of resolving the issue this time, they would have a place for themselves in West Kunlun from then on!

Ye Jun did not waste words. With a sweep of his hand, he summoned the Taotie that had been lying on the ground and mounted it directly.

"Let's go, Little Seven—West Kunlun!" Ye Jun shouted.

Without a word, Taotie dashed straight toward West Kunlun.

The two young maidens left behind looked at each other. Was this senior not a little too hasty? He was not even waiting for them?

Ye Jun's anxious heart could not tolerate any further delay. What if the Peach Tree ended up in his hands?

A dignified woman, draped in phoenix robes and crowned in rosy splendor, sat beneath a tree. The Peach Tree before her had already begun to wither, and even the Spiritual Energy of heaven and earth could barely gather around it.

The Ten Great Spiritual Roots also needed to continuously draw in the Spiritual Energy of heaven and earth to sustain their normal growth.

"Alas, when will this Peach Tree return to normal?" the dignified woman sighed.

Just as the woman lowered her head and sighed, a streak of light came from the Hundred Thousand Great Mountains and smashed directly into the area, kicking up clouds of dust and smoke.

The dignified woman was greatly startled!

Could someone have forcibly barged into her West Kunlun Mountain?

When the smoke dispersed, the dignified woman saw a beast and a man.

The beast had a blue face and protruding fangs, looking exceptionally savage.

The man wore a Daoist robe, now gray and dusty, yet it could not conceal his bearing.

The ones who had fallen were naturally Ye Jun and Taotie. Ye Jun slapped Taotie on the head.

"Little Seven, I told you to come down earlier. Look at this—you smashed right in. If someone had been standing ahead, would that not have damaged my image?" Ye Jun snapped.

Taotie looked utterly aggrieved. It was helpless too!

After venting his complaints, Ye Jun raised his head and saw a dignified woman staring at him in stunned disbelief.

Only then did Ye Jun realize that his fall had taken him straight into Queen Mother of the West's backyard in West Kunlun.

There was no need to think about who this dignified woman before him was.

Queen Mother of the West!

Ye Jun dusted off his sleeves and slowly said amid the dumbfounded stares of Queen Mother of the West and the group of attendants who had hurried over behind her, "Greetings, fellow Daoist Friends!"

Queen Mother of the West recovered from her daze and slowly said, "Daoist Friend Ye Jun?"

Although she had come to West Kunlun after the preaching at Purple Cloud Palace ended, peacefully taking her place as the leader of the female immortals, she had long heard of Ye Jun's identity. When he had refused Dao Ancestor Hongjun's offer of discipleship in Purple Cloud Palace, Queen Mother of the West had first come to know of him.

Ye Jun chuckled. "That's right. I am Ye Jun. Today, while on my way to West Kunlun, I heard that Daoist Friend Queen Mother of the West's Peach Tree had developed a problem."

Only then did Queen Mother of the West look as though she had come to a realization. Pointing at the desolate scene around them, she said, "Then this..."

Ye Jun also glanced at the things around them that he and that fool Taotie had smashed, his face full of helplessness and embarrassment.

"Cough, cough. Daoist Friend Queen Mother of the West, this was all the doing of the fool beside me. I am truly sorry," Ye Jun said shamelessly.

Taotie glared furiously at Ye Jun from the side. Clearly, this guy had failed to distinguish the entrance to West Kunlun Mountain and made it charge straight up here.

And now he was pushing all the blame onto it!

Its cheap master had simply cast aside this little Taotie that had endured hardship and exhaustion while remaining utterly loyal!

Ye Jun had no idea Taotie was muttering away behind him, and Queen Mother of the West was amused by this master-and-servant pair, one man and one beast.

"Pfft." Queen Mother of the West raised her sleeve before her and smiled faintly.

"Daoist Friend, now that everything has been made clear, shouldn't we..." Ye Jun said with cupped fists, then pointed at the many servants behind Queen Mother of the West.

Queen Mother of the West understood at once. With a wave of her hand, she dismissed all the servants behind her.

Only then did she slowly speak. "Will this do?"

Ye Jun nodded repeatedly.

Queen Mother of the West then continued, "Since Daoist Friend said earlier that you came for the Peach Tree, do you have a solution?"

Everything else was a minor matter. The Peach Tree was the truly serious issue!

Once the Peach Tree's problem was resolved, everything else would be easy to discuss!

Ye Jun drew a deep breath. Casually kicking that fool aside with one foot, he slowly said, "I can give it a try!"

Queen Mother of the West nodded. This was more like it. If Ye Jun had claimed he could casually solve the problem of one of the Ten Great Innate Spiritual Roots, she would have been suspicious instead.

She pointed at the Peach Tree beside them, which had already begun to wither as its Spiritual Energy steadily faded.

Only then did Ye Jun carefully examine this Innate Spiritual Root. Although the surrounding heaven and earth's Spiritual Energy had leaked away rather severely, the Dao Rhyme upon the Peach Tree remained rich and dense.

Seeing this, Queen Mother of the West's face filled with excitement. Disregarding her dignity, she grabbed Ye Jun's hand and said, "In that case, Daoist Friend, feel free to act. Whatever you lack, I can search for it throughout West Kunlun."

Ye Jun waved a hand. "No need. Some things cannot necessarily be found even in West Kunlun."

With that, Ye Jun flipped one hand over, and a jade box and a jade bottle appeared before him.

Not wasting any time, Ye Jun opened the box and jade bottle beneath Queen Mother of the West's expectant gaze.

At first glance, Queen Mother of the West saw a handful of yellow earth and a bottle of divine water.

"Th-this... could this be Breathing Earth?" Queen Mother of the West cried out.

Ye Jun slowly nodded. "That's right. This is Breathing Earth, and this water is Three Lights Divine Water."

A radiant smile immediately spread across Queen Mother of the West's face. Daoist Friend Ye Jun truly was her benefactor!

Breathing Earth and Three Lights Divine Water were both priceless treasures!
