Background / History
Ye Jun transmigrated into the Primordial World and awakened as a monkey living on the Enlightenment Dao Tree. Dao Ancestor Hongjun took the tree away, rejected Ye Jun's request for discipleship because of his inferior Origin/Foundation, and left him without shelter. At Kunlun Mountain, Ye Jun activated a Sign-in System and received the Nine Revolutions Profound Art. 1
At Purple Cloud Palace, he climbed the Dao Steps ahead of the Three Pure Ones, refused to yield, and demonstrated strength sufficient to defeat Yuanshi Tianzun and resist Taishang Laojun. Hongjun later offered to accept him as a registered disciple, but Ye Jun refused outright. 3 7
Ye Jun eventually claimed Wuji Mountain—formerly Old Ancestor Yin Yang's dojo—as his own. There he obtained the Yin Yang Dao Method, Yin Yang Chess Pieces, and control of the Yin Yang Great Array. 18 19 He later acquired the Qiankun Diagram at Immeasurable Mountain, complementing the Qiankun Cauldron already in his possession. 36
Personality
Ye Jun is fiercely independent and rejects protection or authority that would compromise his freedom. He refused both Hongjun's offer of discipleship and East King Duke's invitation to join the Purple Mansion, even when warned that powerful enemies might target him. 7 9
He is blunt, provocative, and often taunts enemies during battle. His confidence can become audacity: he steals or pursues rare treasures openly, tricks opponents, and relies on his strength and spatial techniques to escape the consequences. 77 95 115
Despite this, Ye Jun repeatedly aids those in genuine need. He restores Western Kunlun's Flat Peach Tree, saves Changxi and Xihe from cultivation deviation, relieves Yuan Feng's Karmic Fire, and defends Kong Xuan as his disciple. 35 43 60 71
