Background / History

Di Jun and Taiyi entered the Primordial World Chat Group together while investigating the force that had intruded upon their Divine Senses. The group’s first question exposed the Demon Race’s future intention to slaughter the Human Race, forge the Witch Slaying Sword, and eradicate the Witch Race. Di Jun denied the revelation, argued that the group was sowing discord, and urged the other great powers to destroy or boycott it. 1 2

After an incorrect response, Di Jun lost 800,000 years of Mana. He then attempted to pressure the group by threatening anyone who continued answering questions and offering Innate Spiritual Roots and Spiritual Treasures as payment for a boycott. The System punished this violation with the Nine-Layered Nine-Colored Heavenly Gang Thunder. The Heavenly Court’s formations were instantly destroyed; Taiyi’s Chaos Bell blocked only part of the tribulation, leaving Di Jun heavily wounded and dependent on heavenly treasures to recover. 2 3

Di Jun had placed tracking marks on Spiritual Treasures connected to himself and Taiyi. When Qin Feng activated them, Di Jun and Taiyi followed the traces, investigated Bi Fang’s disappearance, and intercepted Qin Feng. Qin Feng deceived them by claiming that two Western Daoists had taken the treasures, leading Di Jun to suspect and publicly accuse Jieyin and Zhunti of masterminding the Chat Group. 2 7 8 9

Once the group’s predictions repeatedly proved true, Di Jun began treating it as a source of future intelligence and rewards. He and Taiyi discussed recruiting Nuwa, expanding Demon Race influence, and using force to subdue Kunpeng and East Prince Gong before the Witch Race could react. Di Jun planned to conceal the operation with the River Diagram and Luo Book while each of the two leaders commanded five Demon Gods. 6 16

Future footage and quiz answers revealed that the Demon Race would lose the first Witch-Demon War and perish alongside the Witch Race in the second. Though shaken by this outcome, Di Jun remained determined to reverse it, asking how the Demon Race would answer the Witch Race’s Great Formation of the Heavenly Gods and Fiends with the Grand Formation of Myriad Stars. 10 13 14

During the conflict surrounding the Ten Golden Crows, Di Jun restrained Taiyi from immediately seeking vengeance, judging that an all-out confrontation would jeopardize the larger Witch-Demon War. He instead proposed settling the immediate grievance through a duel between Lu Ya and Kuafu. 41 46

Di Jun later became enraged by the confirmation that Nuwa would not participate in either Witch-Demon War. He wagered three heavenly treasures and answered incorrectly twice in succession, causing the System to expel him from the Chat Group. His rage afterward was so violent that he struck an approaching subordinate, leaving only the subordinate’s Primordial Spirit to escape. 68 69

Personality

Di Jun is proud, politically calculating, and intensely protective of the Heavenly Court’s authority. He dismisses a Golden Immortal’s attempt to address him as a fellow Daoist, yet recognizes the strategic value of intelligence, rewards, and alliances when they can advance the Demon Race’s position. 7 8 16

He is also highly volatile when humiliated or deprived of an advantage. The loss of Mana, Spiritual Treasures, quiz rewards, and face before other great powers repeatedly provokes him into threats, accusations, and open fury. 2 27 69
