Background

Ning Rongrong is Ning Fengzhi's daughter and Chen Xin's cherished granddaughter. Chen Xin personally awakened her Martial Soul, revealing the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Pagoda and Innate Level Nine Soul Power. Ning Fengzhi believed she might be the person capable of breaking the pagoda Martial Soul's traditional limitations. 1

As a child, she was indulged by much of the sect, but Tang Xuan refused to spoil her and disciplined her harshly enough that she became wary of him. She ultimately accepted him as her older brother, while Chen Xin and Ning Fengzhi approved of the pair's close bond. 2

She trained and obtained her first Soul Ring alongside Tang Xuan under Chen Xin's protection. Though hesitant to kill the Mysterious Armor Giant Rhinoceros, she overcame her fear and personally delivered the fatal blow before absorbing its Soul Ring. 3
