In the room, the host on the television screen was broadcasting the news with a solemn, serious expression.
"Here is a news report. Recently, our country's Dome Observatory unexpectedly discovered a group of unidentified objects speeding toward the Solar System. Based on calculations, they are most likely a large meteor swarm. The observatory is currently tracking them in an attempt to determine where this meteor swarm came from..."

Mary opened her eyes and stared blankly at the unfamiliar ceiling before slowly turning her head to look at the familiar figure beside her.
That's right, this is Mr. Duanmu's home...
Mary blinked, withdrew her gaze, and looked at the ordinary-looking little house before her. She still remembered how curious everyone had been when Duanmu Huai brought them here before. They had all wondered what kind of place he had lived in. As it turned out, Duanmu Huai's former home seemed no different from an ordinary person's.
Of course, if one insisted on pointing something out, there was relatively little furniture. Considering Duanmu Huai's height, however, that was understandable. This place even looked more spacious than the house Mary had lived in while studying at Royal Shuo Academy in London. Apart from a sofa and television, there was only a game capsule and a large bed---which, incidentally, was actually two double beds pushed together in the living room.
As for the bedroom, Duanmu Huai mostly used it as a game room and study.
How should she put it? It didn't fit Duanmu Huai's status in Mary's eyes, yet it fit her understanding of him perfectly. After all, Duanmu Huai had never cared much about food, clothing, or material comforts. Clothes only needed to be wearable, and food only needed to be edible. It was hardly surprising that he didn't care much
